Hi there Windows 11- Version 24H2 (OS Build 26.100.4061) Fences: Version 4.22 Thanks Doug
Hi all, I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and my Fences significant shift position after Windows 11 comes out of sleep mode. This wasn't a problem in Windows 10, it only happened after upgrading to Windows 11. I only have one monitor. Weird .... looking for help please
I'm having a problem where all my Fences disappear (see pictures). This may be after the PC or monitor is coming out of sleep but I'm not sure. I've check the resolution hasn't changed on my PC and the only way to bring them back is Layout Features & Snapshots and "Restore Snapshot" to perform the layout. I'm perplexed on this one. The PC is working fine, resolution is not changing and if I can't get this resolved I'll have to take off Fences b
No only 1 monitor
Thank you for the help. I'm not playing games or anything, just doing normal websurfing, office stuff and my resolution does not seem to be changing - I checked it is always the same so I still have the problem happening for some reason. Thanks for the tip on how to restore - I wasn't aware of that feature, but used the restore snapshot as you suggested so my Fences are back to where they should be for now. Cheers Doug
I have a Windows PC and every couple of days the Fences have changed. Note sure if it is after sleep or not, it just has moved when I go to use the PC. My layout has all fences on the left side, but then they get smaller and shift left about 25%. - see attached pictures please - Windows 10 Pro 22H2 OS 19045.2486 with Windows Eperience Pack 120.2213.4190.0 Asus monitor connected via HDMI to the PC. How do I lock Fences in Windows 11? Used to be view / lock fences but now ???
Thanks Windows version 20H2 (OS Build 19042.1526) Fences 4.0.0.3 Resolution: The resolution is not changing, just the fences pick up and move themselves Can you explain how to do layout screenshot restore? Thanks D
I am running Windows 10 and have 15 fences on the right side of my screen, all lined up vertically and all roll up when hovering over them. I'll be working away on various applications and when I close them and look at the screen, all the fences moved to 2/3 over the screen and resized themselves smaller. Anyone have any idea why this is happening and what I need to do to lock them into the right side of the screen. This is frustrating! T
Thank you... can't believe I missed that one.
One more thing to add to my last reply. I can no longer create a new fence by dragging the cursor on the desktop. hmmm?
Hello and thank you. I unchecked the "enabled" box in Desktop Pages settings and the missing files appeared on my desktop. I left it that way. I'm still having an issue though for example when I use the snipping tool and "Save to Desktop" or when I print to a PDF, the file/icon doesn't show up most of the time. I need to do it more than once to get them to the Desktop.
I recently upgraded my computer. After doing all the required Windows 10 updates, I loaded Fences (v 3.1.3.3) from the Stardock website and configured it with 14 fences, all locked on the right side of my screen, all with rollup enabled. I also have my desktop setup for auto-arrange so any new icons go to the left of the screen and I drag them into the appropriate fence later. So yesterday I went looking in a Fence for one of the documents that I had cre
