How do I lock Fences in Windows 11? Used to be view / lock fences but now ???

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Windows 11 just move them deeper. Click on the "Show More Option".->View->Lock Fences.

Yes, Dev has remove that feature on Fences 5, you can enable it by using this guide: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1621360668/Show+'Lock+Fences'.

I've applied the Registry fix above for Fences 5 but clicking the Lock Fences on the pop up has no effect, does not show a tick nor lock fences?

I am using Fences 5.04 and Windows 11 Home Build 22631.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

Thank you, Basj, for your advice. I have carried out all the steps in order. All reinstalled fine - Version 5.04 - and reloaded the latest Snapshot.

The Lock Fences still does not work.

It is on the menu from the Desktop, Right_Click/View/Lock Fences, but clicking it has no effect and the fences have not locked.

Something might be blocking Fences to work correctly. Please try clean boot: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#cleanboot. Try it and report  back.
