My Fences keep moving

I am running Windows 10 and have 15 fences on the right side of my screen, all lined up vertically and all roll up when hovering over them.

I'll be working away on various applications and when I close them and look at the screen, all the fences moved to 2/3 over the screen and resized themselves smaller.

Anyone have any idea why this is happening and what I need to do to lock them into the right side of the screen.  This is frustrating!

Thanks Doumat

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know few things.

  • Windows 10 version numbers. You can use Winver.exe to get those numbers.
  • Fences version numbers.
  • While you working while the display resolutions change according those various applications?
  • After the issue happened, can you do layout screenshot restore to get back to your layout?

Thanks

Thanks

Windows version 20H2 (OS Build 19042.1526)

Fences 4.0.0.3

Resolution:   The resolution is not changing, just the fences pick up and move themselves

Can you explain how to do layout screenshot restore?

Thanks D

To create a layout snapshot to restore your Fences ( see image below )

To lock your Fences in place just Right-Click on your desktop to View

scroll down to Lock Fences and check it - to move them or delete un check lock fences .
