Thank you for answering. Nothing worked, so I made a new administrator account and then Fences accepted the license key immediately. So I guess my problem is solved although I don't know why I couldn't use the key on my normal account. It works now too.
I purchased Fences5, but after installation it keeps saying that it can't activate, error 212. I deleted the Fences directory as said in you documentation but it still won't activate. I installed it again, activate with key, activate with Stardock account, it keeps giving me the same result. Help?
I just paid for Deskscapes, but it won't let me download. The link is dead. I didn't get an email but I do have my license number How do I get the software?

Hello Basj, I had to turn on windows defender on my computer to adjust all options in both links you posted for me. I'm sorry to say it didn't help. I whitelisted the map I specially created and put the files there, but it still gives me the same message. I turned windows defender off again (my computer is protected by third party software). I have a problem using DeskScapes and Fences together. If I disable DeskScapes, Fences is doing exactly what it suppose to do. As soon as I pick a DeskScape background, Fences is still working but doesn't hide the icons anymore. They stay visible even when Fences scrolls up or hides.
