Errorcode 212

I purchased Fences5, but after installation it keeps saying that it can't activate, error 212.
I deleted the Fences directory as said in you documentation but it still won't activate.
I installed it again, activate with key, activate with Stardock account, it keeps giving me the same result.
Help?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. You was using this guide yes? https://forums.stardock.com/486311/accounts-and-activation-support-faq#error212. If so try this and see if you have not react maximum activation: https://forums.stardock.com/486311/accounts-and-activation-support-faq#reviewactivations. You can review and deactivate old activation to clear up slot for activation. Try that and try activation again. Report back.

Thank you for answering.
Nothing worked, so I made a new administrator account and then Fences accepted the license key immediately.

So I guess my problem is solved although I don't know why I couldn't use the key on my normal account. It works now too.

Most probably your original admin account is somehow corrupted and sending corrupted user information when activation process. Hence the activation issue.
