Yes, it's around the 700mb size.
You can't call it a failure since it isn't even available yet. Windows 8 is a transition OS that's going to start merging the desktop, mobile, and tablets together. Mountain Lion on OS X is doing it, and whether you like it or not, that's the future of operating systems. You can operate Windows 8 in desktop mode and be just fine, and of course there's going to be customization of it.
Start8 is working is fine. :)
You can see examples of what Fences does here. :) https://www.stardock.com/products/fences/screenshots.asp?from=subnav

There are already other threads on this site describing in detail why a great number of people will not purchase games through an online client like Steam. If a game developer considers that population base acceptable losses for the sale of their game....well, that I think is silly. As to your comment about retail sales; it's conjecture. If people d

We're aware, working on it. :)
You are going to find clauses like that become very common everywhere. I see nothing here that is going to prevent me from using or enjoying the convenience and pricing of Steam.
The 2012 version requires Steam to be used, so regardless of where it's purchased the key has to be redeemed on Steam. :)
The Steam Summer sale was kinda meh, but I picked a few things. I think all for about less than $20. Several Anno 2070 DLC AC: Brotherhood Splinter Cell: Conviction

We can't take Paypal for pre-orders. I would assume once we are actually shipping Paypal will be added.
Spec Ops: The Line is 50% off at Amazon. Activates on Steam. Spec Ops: The Line
You won't be charged until it ships.
Enjoy! [e digicons][/e]
*Speaking personally* People have requested for years for the features that Steamworks offered. I understand the points people make against Steam, but an incredible number of people like and use Steam.
Make sure you are logged in, and you should see the discount here - https://www.sinsofasolarempire.com/store Rebellion uses Steamworks, so regardless of where/how it's purchased, Steam will be required.
Steam is the only digital distribution site I visit on a daily basis, I have over 140 games on steam. Nowhere in the description on steam does it say that owners of 'Trinity' would get a discount?
Kryo already addressed this above. The discount only applies if you purchase via Stardock as we have your account records - Steam does not. You can't advertise a discount on Steam directing people to buy
Eh, I gave the wrong link above. It's http://download.stardock.com
Yeah, that's an old listing that shouldn't be up. GameStop doesn't sell or handle desktop items anymore. I would suggest e-mailing support@stardock.com, they might be able to help.
If you are logged in with your account, it should show a price of $29.99.
