This is likely skin specific. It's just that all the skins you've tried have white as a certain background element (not sure which specifically as I haven't done any testing). Experiment by modifying the skin you intend to stick with in the WB Configuration (Click Change System Colours). You can see which colours are currently set to white and as you know what colour you want to change that white to, it's just a case of finding the right one. The Start Button thing can happen when applying WindowBlinds skins too. A change of skin can cause Explorer to freak out (100% CPU core) and will crash if the taskbar is clicked on or the Start (super) key on the keyboard is pressed. I have no problem with Cribbage Deluxe. Pressing F11 with Explorer crashes the instance forcing the window to close! This is with "Dragon" skin.

No worries but yesterday's (?) updates have not fixed the problem my end.

Can confirm with MKVToolNix although the app is useable. Maximised window is fine but when resizing a window there's a lot of garbage on the right and bottom. As for Windows Live Mail, it depends on the skin. Some do show the top bar but most just have a white box obscuring it. Amiga3+ for example works fine. Not for me! All three skins animate but those elements appear behind the menu no matter whether the animate on opening setting is on or off. If it's on then the animation plays before the menu covers it but it's still covered either way. Why just me? I'm on Windows 10, latest Start11 and WB11 versions.
