You cannot seriously expect the devs to make Windowblinds compatible with all apps older than 20+ years?
Of course they should. WB itself is that old; it's part of the very spirit of those who use it and have proudly done so for years! Besides, the old code-base should still be there somewhere, surely? How else do the ancient skins I use every day still work? Props to you Mephitus BTW, from one software archaeologist to another. [e di

I'm not being offered this new beta through Object Desktop Manager or through WB's own updater. I am a returning subscriber and have checked the Show beta downloads box in the settings. I am getting beta downloads for other apps e.g. WindowFX. Just wanted to make this known to those who need to know.
Now that I'm a subscriber again I wanted to see if there was any changes to WB. Unfortunately the top of the Microsoft Store being cut off is still a problem. With all skins as far as I'm aware. Same for maximised window; I made the window small for the sake of the screenshot.

Someone on Reddit mentioned that "150% dpi" isn't supported yet: https://www.reddit.com/r/windows7/comments/ock908/comment/h3wvtji/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 Can you edit the skin to increase the text size? I think making the GUI elements bigger too is too difficult and sadly I doubt the creator will either. <
Yeah, I excluded VLC a long time ago. Not necessarily for this particular reason but I forget why. Cool folder icons BTW. Are those made with an app or did you download and apply them all manually?
Problem with Macrium Reflect 's updater app. Buttons have no text, invisible text etc. Still using Aero 8. I like it that much!
Another problem I haven't been able to fix, and it's quite a biggie, is the new Microsoft Store. WB cuts the top off the store so you can't see the search bar and other interface elements up there. You can search if you manage to click in the box just in the right place but it's quite awkward. I have this problem with all skins (including Aero 8!) Microsoft Store can't be added to the exclusion list because it's installed in a protected folder. Even if you gain access to this folder which I h

Ah, I can see Start10Config.exe does report the correct version. I'll send a bug e-mail to the SUMo developers.
SUMo ( https://www.kcsoftwares.com/ ) was mentioned as having trouble with Windowblinds on another thread so I installed it out of interest and it reports v1.5.0.0 because it's looking at the main executable(s) for Start10.
False alarm. My computer was in a bit of bad state caused somewhat by my impatience. I did have a very slow HDD though and so I thought it was freezing on shutdown / restart. I've upgraded to an SSD now which makes so much of a difference. On a separate note, and it is a small niggle: When you update Start10 next, can you possibly make sure to update the build number wherever this information is inputted (generated?) so that it appears correctly in Windows Explorer properties for the
Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me? I've recently noticed that when I attempt to both Hibernate or Shut Down from Start10 my computer goes all kinds of FUBAR. A shutdown will be attempted but simply won't work with apps closing but the computer never progressing to actually turning off. Nothing works; attempting from the original Start Menu nor "shutdown /i" do nothing. I have to resort to ending important system tasks in Task Manager until I deliberately force a BSOD

While I'm here, another app to add to the list- PDFLite . While it opens and works fine, WindowBlinds doesn't like its tabs and obscures where they should be. Actually, you can add Word 2016 (and possibly the rest of the modern Microsoft Office apps too?) too for not bringing dialogue windows to the front unless you alt-tab off and back again, but then that might just only be for me. P.S. Thanks to whoever fixe
Start10 has an option for the Windows 7 look which is similar to how it was in XP. However, Start10 also lets you use skins that were made during the XP era so if you use one of them it will look more like how it did for that OS. I was dismissive of this app initially as I quite like the Metro Start Menu (and did in Windows 8 too :O ) but when I found out I could make my new(ish) computer look even more 90s/2000s than it already was I installed it straight away and haven't looked back. Purging is a huge pain in the rear. I may be butting in but try my suggestion first, maybe? Might save you some time.
This might be a general problem as the glitches are so severe. I had an ongoing issue that only went away once I had switched to default Windows skin, unloaded WindowBlinds from the notification area icon, rebooted and loaded a WB skin again.

Is it possible to upgrade a licence once the wrong type has been purchased without penalty? Also, I was sad to discover that the type that comes with OD is only the basic KM one.
