Thank you, very much for your assistance.

Simple enough if I click the + button while an OperaGX window/Tab is in focus it does nothing, I have to go to my taskbar and open normally, which at that point it'll autotab it. However, I would have to do this everytime, or skip the + button and open a OperaGX window normally then drag accordingly. (This only started happening after the most recent update) Update: Just noticed FireFox also has issues, it will open FireFox but won't autotab it.
Any chance of this ever being fixed, because it worked just fine when I first got Groupy....
The same requirements apply to grouping as in Groupy 1
That is very sad.
Can anyone confirm if Groupy 2 allows this to group again? Its the Visual Basic Editor for Excel, if it don't I will stick with my current version.
Also fix this :D If set to autogroup it'll do this if you haven't restarted your PC for a few days. I can fix it by somehow regrouping an regrouping but defeats the purpose of autogrouping :D
Was kinda wondering the same, when I first got groupy it seemed new updates were coming out every 1-3 months, but now it's just gone silent. Was really hoping they'd add the ability to group Excel VBA Editor again, as I work with like 5-7 Excel VBA Editor Windows a day, but since they nixed it, it's just so much harder. (Yes it used to work)
Not to my knowledge as it reads info from excel to process my many 1000's of macros, Some extra info may not help: I open each excel file as its own instance because otherwise, the VBA Editor would show all open excel files in 1 window which can cause macro editing issues.
Here it is. I always open it from within Excel, and it does have a standard title bar. <img src="data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAB4AAAABTCAYAAAB+rxrJAAAgAElEQVR4nOzde3zU1Z3H/9ckEHJPtJAETLirYEokYCO1crHtbqBAgN3tysVd28p62aro+tsfBUVANJRuuwraal3s1l0BbX9bIIRCut3KRS1QICExgEi4mBgySYDJZXJP5vfHZL6ZSWYmM7kB4f3sY0ry/X7nzDlnvhPzyTnnc0wPLV5oQ0RERERERKSfO3L0OCaTCZPJZBxz/tr
I know this groupy function was removed a while back, but I am wondering why and if this can be reversed. I use VBA Editor in Excel daily for my job, with multiple different excel files, and not being able to group them is becoming more and more annoying. I was here before the function was removed, and I thought I could just live with it, but as time goes on I am finding it more and more disruptive as I am creating and editing dozens of forms daily. If at the very least I c
I take it you guys just aren't going to fix this issue??
Yes, I know... :D thats what I did already :D . But getting the macro recorder to record the mouse click on groupy tab to select the tab is what I actually want.... as per my previous post I explained why the built-in tab change macro does not work in the way I am needing it used. Let me break it down... time to get technical...
Ok, so after some digging, groupy tabs are not recognized by any macro recorder, or at least none of the 5 I tried recognized the actual clicks. Any idea why? It would be very nice if this actually worked considering I spend almost all day working, and being able to set macro to click the tab automatically would actually reduce a lot of repetitive tasks. Right now I am using the "Control + Tab" to move through them, but it only works if my starting point is the same ever
I take it back... after restarting PC it busted again :D
Issue resolved as of Update LVL3 (core: 80.0.4170.91)
Quick update, was working with OperaGx support, and they advised me to test regular Opera as well, and it's busted there as well. (Had not had Regular Opera installed, so only now found that out)
Yeah the guy who made the program has no time to fix things :D so.... maybe I get lucky and you guys fix it but I have my doubts :D
No, no updates so far on this one. Thank you, Basj, Stardock Community Assistant
Starting to affect my job, as some work sites are no longer accessible because they require me to update the browser, (found a temp way past that though but not sure how long it will last) and this is the browser my job wants me to use. I decided to also reach out to OperaGX and see if they can do anything. Was h
Any updates? New update still hasn't fixed Operagx, tried installing operagx update and it still busted group, had to roll back again.
I use mini mouse macro pro (free version available) however it doesn't seem to work with groupy?? It won't switch between tabs. Hoping a dev could test the free version out and see if they can code group to work with it, already reached out to the creator, not sure if I'll hear back from him though. :D https://www.turnssoft.com/mini-mouse-macro.html is where I got it from, which is the main site.
Did this update fix the issue with OperaGx? It was actually a pain to stop OperaGx from auto-updating, and would rather not go through that again. (Couldn't rename operagx tabs on the latest operagx had reported it in forums)
On Windows 10 at this time and will wait as long as I can before going to Win11
Any updates? Thoughts?
Hello, Sorry to hear you are having trouble. We were able to reproduce the issue and have placed an internal ticket to have it reviewed by the dev team. Internal ref: ODNT-2689 Thanks for the report. Sean Drohan Stardock Support Manager
Glad to hear it was reproducible, which hopefully/usually means easier to fix :)
