I have tried new mice, new usb ports, new drivers, uninstalling/reinstalling, rebooting ect. with no luck. When you said this, new mice, different brand or same brand/model? If you have any other pc, can you try that mouse on that other system and see if this is the same issue on that pc or not. Thank you, Basj, Stardock Community Assistant

Just to be sure, if you want to move a Windows out of a Groupy group, you need to click and drag on " the groupy tabs " of that Windows and move away from that groupy Windows. release only after you have the tabs clear from that main groupy group Windows. Is this what you did all along or you just click on the titlebar of that Windows? Thank you, Basj, Stardock Community Assistant
I
Have done the cleanboot? It might be something else is causing it, since, it happaned randomly. BTW can you produce a video on this For my job my windows have to be locked in a particular spot on the screen, but since sometimes clicking on grouped tab moves the whole window it messes everything up. It does not do this on windows not grouped. I am not really sure wh
Not sure what Revo-uninstaller can done better that the purge can since the purge was made specifically to purge Groupy. So I still suggest for you to use the "groupyPurge.bat" from that link I listed above. After you have done that. Try the cleanboot to help if there is conflicting application with Groupy running in the background as mentioned here : https://forums.stardoc

So happy, you answered here as well!! makes it so much easier!! Yes i did try this with no success, in fact before posting here I followed those same steps. I used Revo-uninstaller to completely uninstall Groupy, and rebooted PC like 3 times to be on safe side (thank god for SSD 10 sec boot times LOL) reinstalled, and rebooted another few times and still have the same issue.

Is there anyway to add support for these apps to be grouped? Its installable desktop app. I use it for work, but it just won't group, doesn't even act like it can.

Groupy set 1 (FireFox) has 6 tabs (Main) Groupy set 2 (Chrome) has 3 tabs (Main Dept.) Groupy Set 3 (FireFox) has 3 tabs (2nd Dept.) Groupy Set 4 (FireFox) 4 Tabs (3rd Dept) Groupy Set 5 (FireFox) 4 Tabs (Back Office) (Being able to title each Groupy tab based on Dept, and organized properly makes it so much easier) But if I minimize I then have to close all re-open all, re-organize all, re-title all. And some work is time sensitive (minutes to complete) so wasting my time re-opening and re-o

When every I minimize grouped browser windows the browser will crash... It will pull back up (un-minimize) but I won't be able to do anything on the pages..... I then have to close all 20 windows, and re-launch them..... I have a really beefy system that can handle 10x's that amount... But Groupy doesn't like it I don't think.... Ideas??

So, after checking this morning Task Manager has Groupy at "Very High Power Usage" and will not let me make any new groups. However, after turning groupy on and off, power usage goes to very low, and then I can merge more groups.

Update: Still works after restart, however, Putting PC to Sleep and Waking back up messes up Groupy for some reason. It will keep current groups, and allow me to add to those groups but no "new" groups can be created. I have to turn Groupy on and off to resolve.

Well, I just started using the program a few days ago... and that's how long it persisted... worked fine the first day then started having issues. (i put PC to sleep every night) I really think it has something to do with PC going into sleep mode vs restarting. I'll be using it all day today extensively so I will test and make sure i can keep creating new groups, if I can then in the morning after i wake my PC I will test again if it stops working then it is sleepmode.

FYI, I am not that upset about this and willing to work with it, but I an another co-worker are testing this app out, and we both think it would be great for the whole company. However, we need to work out any bugs/glitches first before we present it. Though so far 2 Supervisors think it would be an excellent addition, because most only have dual screens and it is hard to handle over 30 windows on just 2 screens, and some are even worse off at just 1 screen. I am fairly well off with t

Ah.... Good! Yes.... That is my problem... However, the problem still occurs even with the "special" apps closed down. And the only thing that makes it special really, is that its a forced windows size that can not be changed... which isn't that special.... lol

Let me try define it another since it seems you guys don't understand what i mean by groups... I cannot have more than 3 instances of groupy running at 1 time... I can have many tabs and or windows inside each groupy but no more than 3 groups. It doesn't matter what app is being used....
