I wanted to draw attention to this issue with moving "tile groups" on the Windows 10 style Start Menu. It is impossible to rearrange groups near the bottom of the list if there are a lot of groups. This doesn't seem to have been addressed for 1.4.x. https://forums.stardock.com/517062/page/1/

Standard 4K. There aren't 40 groups on the screen at once. It scrolls vertically like I said. The thing is, it's a bug. When you are moving the tile group, it does not move with the mouse cursor like you would expect — it floats way above where the mouse cursor is, so you can't actually move it to the bottom of the screen. If it tracked properly with the mouse cursor, then this wouldn't be an issue. The effect gets worse as you add more tile groups

I've got another issue for the "Windows 10" style menu in Start11. Using Start11 version 1.39 on Windows 10. To see what I am talking about: Use the "Windows 10" style Start11 menu. Size the menu so that it can hold three groups of tiles horizontally. Create new groups of tiles until you have about 40 groups. (It does not matter how many tiles are in each group, just one tile in each group is fine.) This will result in the menu scro

Here's something that I have been able to consistently reproduce. Start11 (v1.36) + "Windows 10"-style Start menu Hold shift and drag one tile onto another to create a tile "group" or "folder" Open the folder, right-click and "Rename" one of the tiles The tile name appears to stick ...Close and re-open the folder and the name will have reverted to what it was before. Expected results: The renamed tile should
Did it ask for a reboot after installing before?
I honestly don't recall, but I know that Start11 tends to ask for a reboot after a patch so I only do updates to Start11 at times when I'm about to reboot anyway. I'm sure that I rebooted after installing the update whether it asked me to or not.
Not sure if this relates to your problem or not.
Thanks for the heads up. Seems like it could be. Stardock is normally quick to fix cleanly reproducible bugs (but normally I get a reply in the forum thread noting that they have a fix queued up...). I will check it out later today and post back.

Tried at at 100%. The issue does not occur. "Large" tile size is 124×124 in this case, whether the tile is on the left-most side of a group or not, and Start11 does not chop off any columns of pixels from the tile. (For this test, I added a green column so that you can see precisely where the second column of pixels is as well.) <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/64/64/6464828/70a2723f-c002-42d8-a52f-9a3d

I've been playing with custom tile images and I noticed this inconsistency. Start11 1.31 + Windows 10 21H2 (LTSC 2021) + 4K display set to 200% DPI scaling Start11 has shortcut icon size set to "Large" in Start Menu → Configuration (though this inconsistency is present at least with the "Medium" size as well) The specific issue is that icons in the left column of a "group" are one pixel more narrow than the rest. Here I have a group of four.

General usage question: I have Start11 on Windows 10. I'm using the Windows 10 style menu. I'm leveraging the "multiple pages" feature so that I can have two pages of tiles. Basically, one page is for productivity applications and one page is for games. (You can right-click on an empty spot and select "Create new page" to add a second page of tiles.) I'm looking to see if there is a quick way to switch between pages without having to click on the little

I'm hoping that you guys can address this crash. I'm able to reproduce it consistently. Start11 with "Windows 10" style Start Menu. With some tiles pinned, right-click one of them and select "Icon -> Pick custom tile image..." A "Browse" window appears to pick an image to display, however, the right-click menus do not disappear . They are still open with basically two different menus, the "top-level menu" which has "Unpin", "Resize",

Another question ... I have two systems, both running Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021, both running Start11 version 1.30. I like the new rename feature for tiles, but I can only use it on one of my systems. The other system has a right-click menu that looks a bit different... The icon next to "Icon" does not appear, and the "

I seem to have lost transparency for a number of icons on the "Windows 10"-style Start Menu. They now show against a black background. I've snipped a few screen shots here. <img src="https://phx02pap003files.storage.live.com/y4mRBFDGAmcarG_YRRuhm7JsyrzcaOHEe67X1LIixFOanbO1fMBp8tlFnfN0BJubEYrq-tSJHlqoY60GRZkTNjs_tOndBEm3skM5_mHI1ad_G0HRAFbdAEm2_ixxJkyHvi8SW0Ye3GSUUH1vbev5-IQjBKfAYVmXZ8zyMEvc1c-HCqwO49e9DLuNem1glt0_Atg?width=1600&height=290&cropmode=none" alt="" widt

Noticed this and figured I would point it out. Windows 11 (22H2) + Start11 1.25. I have the Start menu set to "Windows 10" style, not sure if that matters. I also have the Start menu animations turned off. In "Start button" settings, turn "Use a custom start button image" OFF to have the standard Windows 11 Start button appear. Click the Start button and the Start11-powered Windows 10 style Start menu appears. Click the Start button again, while the Sta
I'm on Windows 10... just saying.
OK, cool, I guess they added it on Windows 10 as well. Windows 10 taskbar already supports seconds in the taskbar clock via a registry setting (which I have been using for years), so I guess I never looked at Start11... Start11 is not supporting seconds-on-the-taskbar for the original (21H1) Windows 11 release. So at least on the Windows 11 side you'd have to upgrade to 22H2.
Yes, I knew you know, but I need to know it too. So I can try to reproduce it on my end.
Sorry, I misunderstood you. It's a checkbox in the taskbar settings in Start11 Configuration. It only shows up if you are on Windows 11 (2022 update / version 22H2), not earlier versions or Windows 10.
