floating desktop

I upgraded to Windows 25H2. Deskscapes is no longer working in normal desktop mode. It is using "Active Movie Window". It is floating on top of the desktop screen. How do I get rid of it and return to a normal Deskscapes?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try, uninstall Deskscapes, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

If the issue still appear, we need more information.

  1. Windows 11 25H2 OS Build number. Use Winver.exe
  2. Deskscapes version installed.
  3. Post a video showing us your use will help us understand the issue better.

Thanks for your reply. As there were other issues(File Explorer not opening + Black desktop) I reverted back to earlier build. Microsoft gets it wrong again! And every thing is working again. Please close the ticket.
