Hello Basj and the community, I just wanted to get back with you and let you know that all is well now on my end, the link you sent me worked perfectly on my end. I had to tweak everything around a little bit (it took me all morning but it's now completed and all seems to be working fine now (even through a reboot). It would be nice if there was an (Fences Editor) perhaps that would allow you to align your grids/Fences (align tops, align bottoms, make the same wi

Hello BASJ & the community, For the longest time I haven't updated my Fences software (subscription) because the software would not remember my icons and my screens (monitors) would be switched incorrectly. This had forced me to stick with my current version of Fences until the issue had been resolved. I had waited a very long time for
Thank you Basj, It worked for me. I hope the developer officially brings it back instead of a patch scenario. If they ever took away this functionality I probably wouldn't continue my subscription. This one feature is very important to me. Thank you for your time, ls
Hi Basj, Would you happen to know if Fences 5.0 newest update fixes the problem of not being able to lock/unlock Fences? The update description was vague, as it pretty much said "squashing out bugs"... If the new update does not fix this feature then I'll wait for the update that fixes my issue. Please keep me posted :) Thank you very much for your time. ls
Hello again Basj, Thank you for your prompt reply. Very much appreciated. I'm glad that we were able to reproduce my issue today :)
Windows is doing the auto update again for a second time since I went back a couple of days in time via the NAS backup. I'm hesitant to reinstall Fences 5 since it's running in a buggy state on my system. I use the lock screen feature almost daily. I appreciate your help :)
To the best of my knowledge I'm not, nothing that I've installed or used in a very long time. I've looked in "Program Files" and "Program Files (x86) and I don't see anything out of the ordinary. Just to confirm, I went back in time just prior to installing Fences 5 using Acronis Cyber Protect (backup/restore software) and I can verify that right clicking did indeed work just prior to installing v5 of fences. This is a new issue to the best of my knowledge. <p
Missing the options to "Lock Fences" How do I lock Fences down now? I use this feature all the time, I hope that it wasn't removed. I've looked all over and can't find it, the FAQ says make sure you have the newest version of Fences installed which I do. Would like assistance please, thank you very much. My screen looks like this when right clicked on the desktop. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/62/50/6250419/08b2a438-8ac5-48a1-95bd-61ff81547e2
It's difficult to see the items in the upper right hand corner to click on, i.e. Minimize screen Enlarge Screen Exit screen Please fix this.
Hello basj, Thank you very much for all of your assistance. In conclusion, the Fences4_4.1.0.6-j107-Setup_sd (BETA) version fixed my problem. I had a problem which I did not realize, there was no uniformity between my left and right screens. Uniformity is now fixed and I have my clear backgrounds by unticking the box "Translucent Fence Bac
Currently I'm holding at Fences4_4.1.0.6-j107-Setup_sd (BETA). I think this will be the best version for me to keep as there is uniformity between both left and right screens, it's not what I want but it's obvious from looking at your snapshot picture this is how it was intended to look like. <span style="background-color: #fdfdfd; font-size: 1
FYI... performing a SFC /scannow in elevated command prompt results in no errors being detected. My drivers and OS installation are not resulting in any errors detected. Thank you for your time, Sawz
Version 3 looks like this on my computer. I was wrong about being able to see the waves in version 4.0. On my pc, Version 3 looks like version 4.1 on both sides of the screen. The difference lies in the program version 4.0SD.
Hello basj, I did what you asked and I have mixed results. There is a difference on my system between Fences4_setup_sd & Fences4_4.1.0.6-j107-Setup_sd (BETA) Per your instructions of install and removal with computer restarts in between results in the following. Previously my screen looked like this... RUNNING Fences4_setup_sd <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/62/50/6250419/55

I'm having problems with my opacity, using windows 11 (prior to most current update) my right side has fences that are transparent and on the left monitor they are opaque. I had to undo the newest update (windows 11) as it was causing the fences on my right screen the transparent side to all appear opaque solid dark blue. Not sure what is going on here, Stardock please put out a fix for this. I verified that opacity is set to 100% (Fully Vis
For some reason this was enabled and it forced all my icons to the RIGHT side monitor, I took a snapshot and unchecked this and all seems to be working well now. Thanks for the prompt reply AzDude, I think we can close this issue out now.
I just installed Windows 11 today and I noticed four times so far in Windows 11, Stardock Fences 3.1.3.3 does not remember the positions of your fences for the left side monitor on dual monitor setup. After installing Win 11 - all Fences were bunched up on the right side monitor. After each subsequent reboot - all Fences were bunched up on the right side monitor. After logging out of Win 11 - all Fences were bunched up on the right side monitor.
