Thanks, that's helpful. Just got to spend the time. It's strange, I was noticing that my membership date says 2013. Not sure how that's possible... Also keep getting reminders that my 30 day trial is almost over and I've already bought and registered it in January. I may be losing it! LOL

MS Windows 11 Home (Unfortunately) Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631 Start11 2.0.3.0 Was hoping for Windows 8 but had to use Windows 10 style. I did finally find a unlock button in all those settings, but still doesn't seem to be real configurable like some start menus I recall. I guess anything is better than 11 though. Thanks

I can't find the help I need but am sure I must be missing something. I thought I had solved all my windows 11 start menu problems with this program but it's just getting worse. I get it looking really nice then realize I can't even move the shortcut program Icons I have placed in the menu for the windows 10 UI where I want them. Why wouldn't you be able to move them around? Never got an answer from anyone from any of the Start Menu programs except Classic Shell / Classic Start Menu. When you add folders and drop links to programs in the folder, it auto creates an expandable menu in the start menu. Just what I wanted. So are you saying it would do the same in your program or you dont' know? Thanks Tim

Can't seem to get anyone to answer my other post. Can it create custom folders in the start menu where we can group our software by category? Cascading or expandable sub menu's? Thanks

Seems as though it's a stupid question or nobody knows! Does anyone really use this program?

My main interest in getting start8 of course is that I hate windows 8 UI. But what I'd really like to do is restore the system I had where I created cascading folders in the start menu with sub-categories of the related programs, like Graphic Editors, Web Dev, Security etc etc. At the very least in Windows 7 I had separate folders for shortcuts in my start menu, even though I couldn't get them to cascade like windows XP, but cascade would sure be faster and handier. Will Start8
