Hi Guys, Just an update on this issue. I initially thought the latest release had solved the issue, but it appears to be back. If I click on an icon that is foremost, many times it opens or selects the icon shortcut that is directly underneath. It appears that if I hover over the icon and wait several seconds until it highlights then 9 out of 10, I get the application opening that I want, but if I just go to a topmost fence and immediately click a shortcut without the wait it opens th

Hi, I am a long-time user of Fences and Tabs is one thing I have wanted for so long. However, not sure if you are aware (I have searched around and found nothing) that there appears to be a bug. A bug that defeats the whole point of Tabs and is so frustrating. At least 50% of the time when I click on an application within the topmost Tab group, the underlying Tab group's application that is directly beneath the application I clicked on, will be launched instead of application

Hi Spent most of the day sorting desktop about using Fences with no changes to the default settings. Restarted Windows and the issue was back, the inability to move any icon about the desktop whether in or out of a Fence. Opening Fences settings and unticking "Enable Fences" allows all desktop icons to be moved but as soon as this option is re-enabled Fences return and so does the immovable icons issue. This issue is driving me mad....

Oh No the issues is back after working for a few times. Only thing I have changed from default installed settings is: Only right mouse button creates fence Colour of fence and title text Size of font for title Snap 1 pixel apart Nothing else has been changed. Hi AzDude, performed the purge and restarted, downloaded the individual installer for fences 4 and not via object desktop. Installed and created a couple of fences from scratch and they worked fine. Restarted PC again as this would normally cause the locking issue, but now everything worked as expected. Will update later next week to make sure normal operation works. Currently I use the title with underscores each side to highlight the width of my fences and what icons are encompassed by it. Hi I have used Fences for years and only recently started using the Folder Portal facility and I love it. However, at the top level I set my view to be list instead of the default icon layout view as I find it to be better for my use of the portals. The biggest issue though is as I drill down into the folders I have to set the view in every sub-folder which can be very time consuming. Is there a way to set a default for all folder views to be whatever I like

Hi All Just wondered if it is my setup or not but since updating to the latest version of Fences 3 when I drag a shortcut to enter into a rolled up fence it no longer opens the fence to allow you to drop the shortcut into it like it used to do. Hi I have been using IconPackager 10 for a while now and everything seems fine except in the All Apps list. Program Icons appear as file default blank icons and not the actual program icons used when initially installed. If I revert back from a package to Windows Default Icons they appear as they should sometimes. I have also found that I can get the icons to appear correctly if I find the location of the actual programs exe file and enter properties and change icon

Hi ZubaZ BIG BIG Apologies, it would seem that it was 360 Total Security Virus App I forgot I installed yesterday. I had never tried to create a new Fence until today after installing Icon Packager, so assumed it was this as I couldn't think I had installed anything new until this. But I had forgotten about 360 Security app until about 10 minutes ago so uninstalled it and everything works fine now, including IP, so please accept my apologies, and bad memory.</

Just restarted, rebooted, signed out/signed in and nothing changes, Fences becomes unusable, cannot create, move, roll-up or anything unless I use IP to only display the Windows default icons, then Fences works fine. So will wait until IP is out of Beta methinks, or unless anyone has any ideas. This BTW is on a clean install of Windows 10 Pro with hardly any other software on it other than Digital Audio Workstation software and no former install of previous versio
