Thanks guys! I'll be back! It'll just take some time.

Life happens, and sadly I cannot be here as much as I wish because of personal issues in my life. I try to read up on the Forum, comments and everything and drop an occasional comment here and there, but don't expect too much. Things will change, and I will be back when things settle down, eventually, and I have the time and energy to try and help out and be the regular nuisance or not, depending on how you read me. Love y'all!
Congratulations, one and all of you mini frogs![e digicons]:frogboy:[/e]
I'm on Windows 10, and have been for the past seven years or so, I think. Everything works like it's supposed to, and on my main computer I have only done one reinstall and that wasn't even because of a major issue. For me personally, I see no reason to even consider Windows 11, or Windows 12.... The saying don't fix it if it ain't broke keep ringing in my ears. Ask Jafo. He's still on Windows 7, I reckon, and if it fits his needs, why not. I loved W7, and although everything is working great
Aero Station are great skins! I remember the guy making the Aero Station wb - Mirsguy. I read that Mrs. Guy for a looong time.[e digicons]:P[/e]
So sorry for your loss, David. I lost someone very dear to me a few years ago, and I believe if we live on and try to be the best version of ourselves to honour their memory, will hopefully get us through. Take care!
I know Fences 4 was just released on Steam
Just a heads up - Fences 4 is not on Steam in Norway (EU).
Question naroon1, where are you getting all those skins from? Are they Windowblinds?
Personally, I wonder why these screenshots are even allowed in the Stardock forum for obvious reasons.
I do not have Windows 11, but I am pretty sure there is a configuration screen for turning system icons on or off. Try searching for "Turn system icons on or off" and see if it's turned on like you want. This is how it looks on Windows 10:
Isn't that what they used to get people to quit smoking, or am I mixing that with something else?
That's right. The pills for quit smoking is, in Norway, sold under the name Cha m pix. They are currently not available in the EU to reasons unkown to me, but quite possibly because of all the numerous known unwanted side-effects like depression, suicidal tendencies, nausea, etc.
I like both these blinds ! Is there a link for these two blinds to be downloaded ?
They are not windowblinds. They are msstyles and you have to hack your system to make them work.
Seems like it's already there if this is what you are talking about?
To help you, we need to know more. What program and what version are we talking about and what are you trying to do? What version of Windows are you on?
Sorry!... What does this mean? "IP applies the icons then exit when you close it and do not run until you start it to change icons again ." Could you explain it in clearer English? In Winn 11 - When I make changes, previous changes seem to be getting overwritten. It is really a bummer. It might be because
My ODM showed version 4.01 too after downloading form my account, so my guess is that something is not working in the autoupdate process of the manager. I managed to update manually by going to the folder C:\Users\ YOURUSERNAME \AppData\Local\Stardock\ObjectDesktop. Look for the file ObjectDesktopManagerUpdate.exe and run the installation.
I think it's working for some Windows 11 users. Doesn't look like it's abandoned, but propably not a priority yet according to this compatibility list.
Jan whats that wallpaper you got there in ur screenshot? where can i get?
That's a wall made by me with an icon by a skinner called Chromatix from his Pulse Pack . I got permission from him in 2007 to make skins, walls or icon packs, but never got around to upload any of it.
OK, my Infinite skin (Reply #27) should be released next week, but also working on a new design that should be releasing on or about August 1st called Crunge, here's a preview so far and hope you like it! It will have dark and light explorer sub-styles. Reduced 43% <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/4/91/491411/7815e53d-6bd9-4b
My summer desktop for a while - Lightstar's Commander wb.
System requirements are clearly stated on bottom of the Object Desktop page (see screenshot below). A version of Windowblinds 11 is in the works and will be available sometime in the future, so really, there's nothing to fix. Theme Manager and other older apps are available if you click the cogwheel in top right of OD Manager and click Settings and
Is it an Insiders Build: OS Build 22622.290
Although I'm sure Stardock value your feedback, Insider builds are not supported simply because of the constant change of the OS.
If you are using Fences 4, you can use the the shortcuts "WinKey+Space" & "WinKey+Ctrl+Space" for peek and toggle, respectively.
I actually think it's a good idea. Even if read only by a few.
Hopefully, the answer in Reply #2 solves your problem?
To create a new fence, you have to ensure that the "Lock Fences" is not checked when right clicking on your desktop like in the screenshot: To create a new fence, just click, hold & drag your mouse. Your linked image has nothing to do with Fences.
