That's great to hear. I'd love to see the game enhanced on for years to come for sure. Super wish list but not realistic. Pop system for cities like Civ 5 with more complex leveling and upgrading system Crusader Kings like relationship for rulers Fix food system to be a bit more clear. Still looking forward either way

If you put out a DLC then I'm happy to purchase it. I still think the economy is a bit off from my play thru. I still didn't feel like I could afford scouts (and found them useless because they can't pick up goodie huts or quests) I couldn't afford units to defend my towers. Part of the issue is that some seriously overpowered spiders spawned on my borders and

Yes marriage works for me now correctly too. It not clear the benefits of the different rarity for partners and then what's inherited by the babies. This is probably a tooltip thing.

I can confirm that the money scaling is better in this version. I can actually afford a scouts wages. That being said, the Town buildings aren't really worth investing still. There's one that gives you an extra 4 percent gildar. I realize some of the last gildar buildings will snowball. I still couldnt afford to defend my cities or my outposts. It seems like wages are 3-5 times what they should be. At worst, id be nice if wages was a setting. I played on fast tec

Dynasties didn't work for me and I tried two different games. Maybe I clicked wrong. Economy seems borked. The first game I didn't build a town and so couldn't afford anything. I couldn't even afford militia. I focused on making a town first in second game I started and that did help. I don't recall it even being this hard to make money. I don't think the AI could afford either. It was difficult to continue to level up my characters at a certain point. T

It's a fair criticism. Brad has always been upfront in my opinion. I've been burned a few times by Stardock with lifetime accounts (Gal Civ III, Star Control), in my opinion. I really liked Sorcerer King and I was fond of Fallen Enchantress. From my point of view, I never felt like there was ever was ill intent. Perhaps there was a hope that the vision will work out. Sometimes it doesn't. So I like the vision being explained to me. You can tell he really loves the game

I know when I played the alpha or beta version recently of this remaster that I was sad to not see what kind of expected production and stats that a settler would give on the formation of a new city. So if I have a settler selected then the tool tip. If I hover over a land then will tell me what the land might give me if I settle on a city.

1. I can't make heads or tails on how cities grow because you have a growth number and you have a grain number. I'm sure there is a logical explanation but I couldn't figure it out. As much as anything, this is just a UI understanding thing because I've never understood it even when I played elemental years ago. 2. This is a lot like one in that I wish that cities didn't cap at at four populat

Thoughts on Beta 1: Positives: 1. I like the art choices of your models and the direction of the overall design and feel the UI and creatures. 2. The fleet battles feel very much like the old Star Control which was quite nice. I know you've had plenty of feedback on the fleet battles but it worked well enough for the style of SC2. 3. Roaming on the planets with the Not-Called-Mako was easy to maneuver. I loved seeing the bigger planets in the sky. I couldn't fi

The fact that you respected the author's wishes says a lot about Stardock and company. Look, I have faith that you'll craft an interesting world. You did it certainly with Elemental/Legendary and Sins for a Solar Empire. I know that SfaSE did have a story perse but it's what was not said that is interesting too. I'd be remiss to ignore GalCiv3. I'd rather you left the Star Control 1 and 2 story alone and let them tell their story for sure. You're doing that and kudos for it. I

I'd rather you guys have a heart to heart talk with your fan base and find out which version people would want to support. I have no intention of ever, ever playing Gal Civ III: Base now that Crusade exists. I'd rather you focused all of engineering, art, and others allocated to Crusade and continue with that version. I feel like this is the same conversation that Singularity had and Escalation ended up being the version people wanted overall. Crusade is a better version from my point of view

I stopped playing recently until some of the more annoying bugs are sorted out but that doesn't mean I don't plan to play in the future. I know for certain that I want no part in playing original Gal Civ compared to Crusade. Crusade is far and above better than Gal Civ original. Just like with Ashes, I don't see any point in supporting the original at this point. It seems like a waste of resources. My problem with Crusade falls into a couple of things: 1. Bugs. I

Now don't get me wrong. Maybe the AI just happens to have a bunch of different planets with 200+ research but I really doubt it. Those kind of bonuses are really hard to get especially galazy wide. Anyway, no idea what to do because it broke my game and I don't want to play it anymore. I've posted the save file though. I'm the Smith empire and the Terran's are absurdly doing too well. Here's the file in my Dropbox: <

Since you gave us founders access to Crusade, I thought a bug report thread might help. I know there was another one but please only post bugs in here. - Was making race and setting traits. The tooltip for handy for the blue circle says it's -30% while the green circle says it's +20%. This is obviously wrong. - In creating custom race abilities screen, vigilant a

Brad, I appreciate the update on this. You didn't have to and I appreciate it anyway. P.S. Was making race and setting traits. The tooltip for handy for the blue circle says it's -30% while the green circle says it's +20%. This is obviously wrong.

Replayability is why I haven't really played it since it came out even though I logged a lot of hours in the game before it game out as a beta-tester. To be fair, there's a lot of games I've beat and then come back to play when new content come out. Ironically, this is the same issue that presented itself back in May in this thread: http://forums.sorcererking.com/466063/page/1/#replies My suggestions, which are on the first page, still haven't changed but

I'm glad there have been mod streams of late even if a few have been cancelled. I'm glad that the game was finished and was quite enjoyable when I played through the campaign it a time or two. I used to play it a lot before the game came out but I've experienced almost all the features. Indeed, the main confidence builder is that Legendary Heroes is still getting updates so I believe it when it's been said that updates will continue for awhile. I simply

I was trying to get over to an area where the yeti guys were and they kept block my path and I wasn't able to get over to their quest because their yetis kept blocking my path. I'd suggest that neutral units don't block movement. It would help a lot. If you are worried about cheating then just make it where you can only cross if you have at least 2 movement points and can't end your turn on top of a neutral unit. As for allied, well, I think you should be able

I played a guardian game (not all the way through) and I didn't have a lot of excess mana really. I did use it to buy troops but I was comfortable with the level and I didn't have any wrath spells to use. I didn't make it to the end of the game though so maybe I'd have more by then In fact, I felt like I didn't have enough mana sometimes but it felt just about right to me. The no-turn casting sovereign casting is much much nicer. I can finally

You can still avoid a great deal of the campaign content with the falcon. I hate using it for anything else because it doesn't have the scout trait to not let it get attacked and it's useless for anything but mountain and water exploration. Just wanted to point that out

Agree with Stalker0 above. Please do those things. I've pointed out the food issue before and hope you can implement that. I"ll post an old post from May but it's still relevant: #1. The only way to figure out how a city grows is by clicking on a city and looking at the small b
