Thanks. Just checked my startmenu folder and for some reason all the contents got recently deleted. Luckily, I had that folder backed up because I had other things in there also. Thanks again.

All of a sudden for reasons unknown ObjectDock 2 won't load at startup. I checked and "Load at startup" is selected. Also in autoruns it shows "Stardock ObjectDock Shell Extension" odmenu.dll checked. Yet it still won't load at startup. I have to manually start it up each time after Windows boots. But it was working fine until the other day. All of a sudden it just stopped loading at startup. Has anybody else experienced this?

Okay I did figure out how to create a proper "My Computer" animated shortcut. Create an animated docklet, and fill it in like this: Path: explorer.exe Parameters: "::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}" Title: My Computer Now it will open multiple My Computer windows with multiple clicks. Perfect. AND

The same thing happens to me - I'm using version 2.0. The top default tabbed dock that appears when it first runs is always on top of other windows, even when "auto-hide" is selected. The bottom one auto-hides but the top one is always partially visible, covering up the top of my browser. Most of the top dock auto-hides but the tabs stick out, getting in the way.

I just tried dragging the shortcuts onto the dock, but the results are not what I want. If I click repeatedly on the "My Computer" shortcut directly from the desktop (or anywhere else I put that shortcut), I can open up multiple windows of "My Computer" in a row, which is perfect when I want to have multiple windows open to copy files, etc. But I can't do that from the shortcut if I drag it to the dock - the first click opens up a new window for "My Computer", ONLY if there are no other E

I'm trying to create a couple shortcuts in Objectdock using the "animated docklet" docklet. I'm trying to create shortcuts to "My Computer" and also GodMode. For GodMode, usually you can just create a desktop shortcut with: C:\Windows\explorer.exe shell:::{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} as the target and C:\Windows as the "start in". But this is not working in Objectdock. Notrhing comes up. I'm als

Hey thanks for the reply. Oops - I meant Spippy. [e digicons]:typo:[/e] Yeah I get the feeling it is those large animations that's taking up resources within Objectdock. As an experiment, I loaded all of the Spippy Icons into Photoshop and resized them to 50%. Now they work perfectly in Objectdock and still look fantastic. There is no visible quality loss that I can see and I'm picky about those things. So there's the solution if anyb

I'm using Objectdock 2.0, and I use animated icons with the "Animated Docklet" available through Wincustomize. I also use the nice animated icons from "Spiffy" that are available though Wincustomize and also Rocketdock's site. But any animated icons from Spiffy barely work - even with "optimized for performance" selected in Objectdock. The icons are choppy and sluggish, barely moving from frame to frame. I have an I7 920 processor with 3gb memory so it should ru
