not hiding docks for maximized apps when launching app from dock

I have my docks set to keep at bottom yet once I launch an app from a dock the docks stay up over the top of the maximized app windows.

If I initially do not launch an app from a dock it works as desired but once on app is launched from a dock from that point on the docks stays over the all apps I launch until I restart or reload OD.

Not sure how to keep it from doing this. Any ideas?

I have the same exact Issue but it is only happening with Google Chrome. Hopefully we can get an answer soon; because it's honestly annoying after awhile.

It would help to know if it's a tabbed dock, and which version of ObjectDock you are using. In ObjectDock 1.9, for instance, it's fairly easy to choose having a zoomer dock to remain in the background. The interface in OD2 is different, and I don't have it.

The same thing happens to me - I'm using version 2.0.  The top default tabbed dock that appears when it first runs is always on top of other windows, even when "auto-hide" is selected. The bottom one auto-hides but the top one is always partially visible, covering up the top of my browser. Most of the top dock auto-hides but the tabs stick out, getting in the way.
