Countless time I have changed my shortcut link to different saved groups to have a custom icon on the start 11 enhanced taskbar. Sometimes it lasts for a couple days, sometimes for 5 minutes but for some peculiar reason the icon changes to the saved group default (an ugly amalgam of the various apps in the group). Very frustrating, But why????
Exactly the same problem. Wasl looking everywhere to work out why my custom icons would nigh on immediately revert to original. Cleaned out icon cache and did everything I googled. Nothing worked. Then I turned off Start 11 taskbar enhancement. Lo and behold, my custom icons re-appeared. If start 11 taskbar enhancements don't permit custom icons, not much of an enhancement. Quite the opposite.
I have two tabs for my firefox browser in a saved group- one for work and one for personal. Been working fine until recently. Now, it reverses and renames my business tab "personal" and personal "business". When I try to correct them, it automatically reverts to the incorrect names?????? I created another group between Windows Phone Link and my Voip app. When I click on the group link to open it, the two apps open but not as a group.
Hi, I group my MS outlook email inbox, with my outlook calendar and my MS to do app in 3 separate tabs. When I lock and save the group, and then try to open the group shortcut, I simply get 3 tabs of my email inbox opening (ie not the calendar and not the To do. I have grouped in 3 tabs (and saved) my MS outlook inbox, calendar and to do apps. When I open saved group, it just opens 2 tabs both being my outlook inbox....
Ive been using windowblinds on and off again for about 2 years. Yesterday after updating the software, thought I would try some skins. Unfortunately, whatever skin I used, it rendered my taskbar (including start button) inoperable. The only way I could get my system to work again was to use the keyboard to access the start button and then the control panel and I uninstalled the program,
even if windows isn't open, when I enable fences my screen flashes 3 times, then get a message that Fences has been disable because windows did not close correctly???
Been using fences for years and today whenever I enable fences windows explorer crashes and fences disables itself. What's going on?
Hi Have been exprerimenting with Groupy. Love the idea and generally works well. One issue though - teh settings give you the ability to exclude specific apps. I have set it to exclude chrome, word and adobe, but they are still being included. Is there also a way that you can establish a fixed group eg would like my outlook inbox, MS Teams, skype in a fixed group that I can just click on and they open. At present, I have to re-establish the group each time.
