Do skin contributors, ones who make master skins or whatever conditions, get an 'auto subscription'? Or do they pay too if they want the no-ads and discounts?
What does this mean:
Site features - WC Subscribers can customize the sites explore menu for faster access to your favorite skin categories
I can currently 'shrink' forum sections...is that what you mean?

Well if Wincustomize ever goes down cause of heat or whatever, you're welcome here [e digicons]:D[/e]
So you want the same functionality that Start8 provides, but with a different image for the start button?
and if supprot ignores you, try support@stardock.com :-P
With apps I avoid some crap by changing the 'who can see posts made by this app' to 'Only me'. Then I do whatever I want to do with the app, and then remove it from my app list in facebook settings. Also, I've been noticing with 'reputable' apps that they usually give you a 'skip' or 'just continue' option when they suggest making a post on your behalf.
It's a nice looking theme - maybe the artist would be happy to give permission for the skin elements to be used in a windowblinds skin - first stop would be their permission I'd think.
Future: Encoded/Ecrypted files, filenames, websites. Closed communities. Dark arts and voodoo magic. Spies, lies and espionage. Wiggly fingers to a spooky 'Woooooh' sound. Databases: porn traffic. lots of porn traffic. - have fun regexp'ing that out.
We don't have jails.
*shrug* oh well. Love the image :-)
I solved it. Top right - Options button in forums - flatten forum categories. Perfect! Exactly what I wanted. Now all the sub forums show their recent posts and content in the parent forum. Nice feature to stumble across!

There's been over time discussion on the content seems when you come to Stardock's forums. JoeUser, Wincustomize, GalCiv etc. Stardock have made a fantastic effort at letting all these forums interact as one giant community. But for some people it's just too much. e.g. I myself only use Wincustomize as my gateway - but of course I see other kinds of post from the other forums too, because they might share a forum. But if we separate the forums, you sep
Just wondering if this is how it should work - the sub-sub forums topics don't appear in the recently active post list for their parent forum. This means the only way to see a 'recent post' listing of a recent post in a sub-sub forum is to go to that sub-sub forum directly or on the very first page of the forums under 'recent posts'. This means if I'm only interested in one sub-forum and it's content, I have to open each sub-sub forum to find out wh
BANNED FOR MAKING ME COME HERE AND BEING PSYCHOLOGICALLY INCLINED TO SAY I HATE THIS CRAP ACCORDING TO THE RULES OF THE GAME! [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]#:([/e] [e digicons]X([/e] [e digicons]x_x[/e] I think seeing the 'two' drove me over the edge. By all means, continue...
You might know I'm trying my hand at a script editor specifically for DesktopX. I've extended my plan to a general DesktopX 'editor' which can help in the creation of DesktopX objects etc. I've already planned out some features - some of which do duplicate what DesktopX already provides through it's properties window - but hopefully makes them more accessible and flexible. I've also asked Stardock support for some updates to DesktopX which would mak
I've got extra bits all over the place! [e digicons][/e]
Maybe an option to have an indicator that an icon/shortcut is no longer 'valid'.
It's only started happening for me this year - win7 74bit I think, and me generally doing weird stuff with DesktopX triggered it. I'll try Revo next time it happens!
I send you well wishes. When I start getting that 'BEX' error I usually end up re-installing window. Granted though, never tried Wiz's suggestion. Please let us know if it works.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention the 'Turn off the lights' feature is really neat ;-)
I'm really liking some of the apparent site features - e.g. built in article and video/media support and the 'mood' feature is a bit of fun :-). A couple of things caught me out simply because they are different to here, but it feels nice. But gosh, my first reaction was 'it's so chunky! those forum icons and title bars are huge!', but I guess a positive side effect is it's a tad easier to read... :-P
I remember the Kinect ad which made out I'd be kung fu-ing real time. Hopefully this isn't just a 'conceptual demo' And it's Apple right? Why's everyone talking about Win 8?
