Thankyou for the response, the trial has been on the computer (all 3 trials) for about a week but still shows 30 days left, should it not count down to expiration. Also, downloading and installing most themes works fine but some will not download (all free). Why would one by the same designer install but no other by him?

I have downloaded WindowBlinds from the Stardock site 3 times now to a clean image each time so no remnants remained and first, the trial stays at 30 days and has for days; does the trial just end with no warning? There are also themes that will not download, I am using Azurlight by bleumart but any others by him will not download, also a few by LightStar and, unbelievably, those mostly red like Hi Klass Special Edition. The only options I get are open with Winrar archiver, open with Internet

No, Deskscapes 3 ran perfect in Vista, had the above issue and others on Xp and is having an issue with the Earth desktop in the demo that may be caused by my video card in W7. I use CCleaner, SpyWareBlaster, SuperAntiSpyware and only one AV.

Installed the trial of Deskscapes 3 on W7 and using the Earth option, WMP stutters when playing any video, they play fine using Media Player Classc, no problem with other dreams and not a CPU issue. Edit: forgot, Hotmail when Opera is used doesn't open, in IE it does and without Deskscapes, it opens in both, no biggie there.

Similar specs here: AMD X2 6400, 3 1/2 G Ram 7300 nvidia, XP SP3 with the invisible icons and a bit more. Unable to drag saved items from the desktop at all and any icon saved or moved to the desktop did not appear until the desktop was clicked. All Dreamscenes worked fine. running Avira Pro, fine on Vista but not W7, using XVID 1.2.2 also.

Nothing running when this happens, no add ons at all and I thought rebooting could be necessary but no difference, thanks. Edit: I have reinstalled Deskscapes 3 several times on clean images just to be sure the download wasn't corrupt too.

Demoing Deskscapes 3 on XP Pro SP3 after using 2 on Vista with no problems and now having some unusual troubles. Any folder or Window that I open on my desktop like My Computer will not close unless minimized or I click the X and touch (not click) the start button. I also can't minimize after clicking the X. Another problem is that I can move items out of folders but not put the same one or any other back, I used to move items to a second HDD and now I can't. Windows 7 had the same errors wit

Got it working by downloading Dreamscape for Window's 7, Deskscape 1.02 and enabling custom>show translucent selection rectangle (it already was, had to activate custom) in control panel>performance information>visual effect's.

Thank's but this my first attempt at installing Dream's and System Restore has been disabled for year's, long before this install so wouldn't help and every image of Vista is of it modified. Look's like I traded an animated desktop for speed, too bad but a more than fair trade off.

I did find a beta for Dreamscene and installed that but still get the message it's needed.

No error message but my desktop goes black with icon's remaining fine. Edit: And I do get a message that Dreamscene is required to be installed but not everytime.

I am unable to use an animated desktop as I used vLite on my copy of Vista Ultimate and have no access to Dreamscene, guess I deleted a program it needed. I installed Deskscape 1.02 or 1.00 but that didn't help. Is there a version that will work or is Dreamscene needed? Thankyou
