Does this happen with KA open on the primary, or just the secondary? What version of Windows are these?

Could you be more specific about what is happening? Are you getting any errors? If so, what are they, and when do they occur? What programs, specifically, are you having trouble with?
Individually those programs can cost over $100.00 US.
It's actually closer to $200...
He might be talking about https://www.stardock.com/support/ , though that's working at the moment as well.
Ditto. Now, I had 'tears' in my retina fixed with laser. It's like someone trying to press their thumb on the back of your skull through your eyeball..for a really long time...over and over... I should have known something was up when he pointed to the two hand-grips and said 'You may want to hold onto those.' I went back three times. I've decided I can live with the flashes of l

I went with the laser option. It's the way to be. :)
Quick question! When I arrive at the knowledgebase page it is prompting for a login. It will not accept my WC login. Is there a separate login for the knowledgebase page?
There is a different logon system for the esupport system, but it shouldn't be necessary to make an account just to access the Knowledgebase. You should be able to at least browse without logging in.
Using Internet Explorer (other browsers won't handle the download correctly), download the appropriate file for your computer: 32-bit: http://sd.stardock.com/Rosco/fixes/blank_icons32.bat 64-bit: http://sd.stardock.com/Rosco/fixes/blank_icons64.bat Save to your desktop, then right click on the file and select 'Run as Administrator&#
Banned for bad grammar. Yeah, I went there.
Apply one of these options (the Aero one, most likely): This will get you back to your defaults. Also, when you say you lost your icons, do you mean the images were blank? Or were the files themselves not there? Was this just on the Desktop? I'm asking because this is very odd behavio
It looks like you're using an old version of the installer. Try downloading the latest and see if that helps. https://www.stardock.com/products/objectDock/downloads.asp
You can also send an email to support@stardock.com in case we need to collect data about your computer (log files, etc)
You should have an email.
Does it happen for you with all games, or only certain ones? I know a lot of older games that weren't designed for newer OSs don't change resolutions in a very 'friendly' way, which can wreak havoc on desktop icons...
Zu....I expect LizMarr's comment was anecdotal, and not an issue with SD ....
It's the ol' "If a guy..." thing. There are parts of the country where no one ever gives advice by saying something like "You should..." or "I would...", they always start with "If a guy...", like "If a guy had a flat tire like this, he'd...". Oddest form of politeness I've ever encountered.
sometimes when you start games and by default it selects the incorrect resolution and moves your icons out of place.
Have you tried turning on the Per-Screen Resolution option?
Alright! Loved this from the start.
Go to http://download.stardock.com, login to your account, and download the installer.
For those still trying to use Impulse/Gamestop... don't. Since it was sold, we've stopped using it, so you should too. [e digicons][/e] Except for games, for which it still works wonderfully.
Has it worked before? Is this a reinstallation? Usually what causes crashes for SoundPackager is bad or corrupt sound themes. Try moving all of them to a temporary location and see if it starts up for you. They're located here: XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Stardock\SoundPackager or C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR USER NAME]\My Documents\Stardock\SoundPackager Vista/7: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\Sound
At this point, the order has gone through, so you should be able to download it from here: http://download.stardock.com/ As for what caused the delay, it's hard to say after the fact, but most likely, your order was filtered due to our fraud detection measures, which sadly sometimes trip legitimate orders. We then process those manually if they turn out to be legitimate. It doesn't happen often, fortunately.
In XP, it's Arrange Icons By->Align to Grid
For anyone else experiencing similar issues, here's a few things: 1) Don't Panic. 2) Make sure you're not using Impulse/Gamestop. We're using this now: http://download.stardock.com/ And soon we'll be using this: https://forums.stardock.com/413462 3) It's possible there was a delay in processing your order. It's not
