gumpngreen: Was Windows 8 installed clean, or was it an upgrade from Windows 7?
no display screen on primary for second computer
This, if I understand you correctly, is not something Multiplicity does. Each computer still needs its own monitor.
We have a new installer, which should help: https://forums.wincustomize.com/435086
Yes, sorry, that was pasted from the old version of that response. The first part is still valid, though.

Beyond Start8, Fences 2, Multiplicity 2, Tiles (beta), and WindowFX 5 (beta), Stardock applications are not certified to work with Windows 8 and running current version may or may not work. At this time though, they are not supported. [edited to fix my stupidity]

Multiplicity 2 should work fine on Windows 8, so it sounds like something else is gumming up the works. Send an email to support@stardock.com and we'll deep dive.
in 2 days
Nope.
anytime soon
"Soon" is relative, of course, but there should be at least more concrete info soon.

I'm unable to reproduce this. What version of Fences and Windows are you using?
I'm not sure the first thing is feasible, at least for the amount of effort it would (theoretically) involve. The second one, though, should already be possible. If you position the mouse in the very lower left corner (you'll see the mouseover glow go away), you'll be able to right click and get the "Power User" menu. Also, you can access it by pressing Winkey+X.
If I recall, this is on a "to-do" list somewhere (or a "to-consider-doing" list, at least).
It's probably related to your custom theme, similar to your other thread.
Fences 1.x: Kinda? Maybe? Either way, not supported. Fences 2 (beta): Yes.
Are there any other command line parameters that invoke other Start8 features, behaviors or... Easter Eggs?
Try "Start8 DO NOTHING". Works every time. ;)
Tip: If you have Windows 8 with Start8 installed, the Start Menu button on ObjectDock will actually open Start8.

Glad it's up and running! When you say "installer is from the notification screen", I'm not sure what you're referring to... Stardock Central, maybe?
Nexus 7. For the price, it's hard to match what it can do, and I know there are Python-specific dev apps, as well as some more generic ones that could probably be used for it as well.
