Thanks for the suggestion Rosco_P, I watched the video and seriously considered the Tiles but in the end concluded I wouldn't make much use of it under my work scenarios.
Fair enough. It has more of a "Virtual Desktops" feel to it than what you were originally describing, so I can see that.
Just a guess....but if it's not a current feature already included then no, it's not possible, as it surely would have been if it were....
You are the reason feature creep is an issue. :P
Ponies. Lot's of 'em.
This is also true of the standalone apps, not just Object Desktop (for anyone that was wondering).
You might also be interested in Tiles, which is good for only showing the windows and programs you want at any given time. Here's what it looks like:
There isn't a way to do either of these at the moment, but it's worth passing along to the devs. The systray is probably not feasible, just by the way it works, but it can't hurt to try.
This is what we call, "No new information." As soon as there is, we'll post it here.
No, the authorizations are temporary. What you can do, though, is contact your bank and see if they can expedite the process and have it removed manually, that way you don't have to worry about it. They can typically do it right away (bank dependent).

You should have an email that explains the details of what happened. The synopsis is that there weren't two charges, there was a temporary authorization, then the declined charge.
Looking into this now...
Technically I can switch off UAC, just not allowed to for security reasons.
Ah. I was thinking there were local or group policies in place, which could conflict with Fences operations.
I can't (local policy) turn off UAC.
I have a feeling this might be relevant to the cause.
It has appeared on your account (I checked), but just on your Stardock account. We no longer have the keys to the Impulse kingdom, so we can't pull that off, but you can download it from http://download.stardock.com/
That's quite the journey you've taken us on, there...
This has become a dealbreaker for me as well. AFter screwing around with several media players (SOngbird, Winamp, KPLayer,..) and several music managers I've finally settled on MediaMonkey. It handles the tagging, artwork, and all the ID stuff very well and it's easy to use.
I use MediaMonkey for organizing everything, but as a player, it's too bulky for me. I'm a foobar2000 fan, myself.
Dealbreaker question: Does the music library recognize the 'Album Artist' and 'Track Artist' ID3 tags as being two different things, and which does it organize with?
Looks like RND's love needs no schedule...
It sounds like more than Deskscapes is crashing. If your icons are disappearing, then explorer.exe is no longer running, either.
