Before I purchase another year lisence for Object Desktop I was wondering.... Do themes designed for Vista only work with Vista and would they work with Windows 7? Or do you have to get Windows 7 spesific themes?
Well its getting to that time in life when my PC needs a full system restore... I was wondering, Is is possible to save everything, all the settings i have, the theme im using, all the custom icons, animated desktops, so that when i re-install my pc i can just install it all quickly and effortlessly? Or will I have to install all my stardock programs again etc...? Just wondered, Also because I was hoping to put the same scene on my laptop without having
Is there a program that lets me extract an icon package (.ip) so i can access the individual .ico files?

You know the transparent diagonal bars that you seen on transparent windows with vista, is it possible to get rid of them? I would greatly appreciate any feedback given with this :)

I recently purchased the object desktop package, which came with theme manager. There is a tab for cursors which apparently lets you change your cursor. Thanks Wizard, I was thinking you only get to keep the programs for a year and then thats it. Would there be any problems with my m8 buying it for me? How does the purchase work do, do they send you an activation code or somthing?
paying £25 every year just to have a funky looking desktop? So what happens when your year is up, do the programs just go back to free trial mode... :|

I have been using the trial version of windows blinds, icon packer and some of the other products available with the Object Desktop :) I was just wondering is it worth it to buy this package? What do you all think of it? Also how does the payment work, because it will be my friend buying it for me because i dont own an online bank account, would that cause any problems? Alex
