Hi support, i installed latest 5.88 rev8 and so far i could not reproduce the issue. I also double checked and i actually had "windows sleep" disabled, so it was just related to the monitor standby feature. I will report back if i manage to reproduce it again, thanks.
please refer and follow these steps mention in troubleshooting steps mention in the first post of these thread
I already did this and use the per monitor setting and also have setup's stored. As noted if i do a full boot all is fine and gets restored correctly, also manual restore from a backup works. Its just that if windows enters sleep and than wakes, Fences restores to the wrong monitor. This is a really annoyin

Windows 11 (23H2) Fences: 5.86 I have a multimonitor setup, whith my Fences on the second monitor. Yet if my system goes to sleep and both monitors are in standby mode and than wake-up. Fences restores all to the first monitor. The issues seems that my secondary "fences" monitor wakes a bit slower than my first, so fences seems to only see the first one and converts the layout. Yet when my second comes "online", why does fences not realize this error? So basica

Yeah horrible communications regarding upgrade vs pricing vs release-models. You will piss-off users again if the next v6 version releases shortly after, for those that picked a "lifetime" version again. The easy win would have been, to clearly communicate this new release cadence and the shift to "force" users into a subscription model. Than you should have allowed existing users to get a discounted 3/5 year upgrade subscription period for like 5$ per year, which i would have upgrade

Also just found this post and having the same issues, its even more pronounced while i switched from a AMD to a nVidia GPU. So basically for me if the monitors go into sleep via power management and i wake them, the one with all my fences needs a bit longer to wake and by this time fences has already moved everything to the main monitor. I than have to manually power off my main again, than fences switches all to the now "main" aka old secondary. Than i switch my main on again

I just wanted to test the new "Windows Terminal App" and had the issue that whatever i tried i could never get into admin mode, until i tried to bypass Start10 and directly used the link from the normal Win10 startmenu. Using the native link + "Run as Admin" worked and i got a tab with the "Administrator:Powershell", while the same in Start10 only yields "Powershell". There is some issue with the special "Start10\Launch.exe" link logic for universal store apps.

Hi, would be nice to-be able to pin .bat files to the start menu. I also miss the option to right click on "This PC" and have the device-manager listed there. thx Andy
