WOW, you all are so lucky! I had a disaster. For some reason, there was a hiccup in Extreme; all my docks disappeared, and a new set of docks appeared in the Aquaman skin. What's worse is all my other skins were deleted, and the Aquaman had the tiniest fonts for the various objects. I hated to leave, but after a couple of years of working with Winstep Extreme, I would use Fences. It is not nearly as slick but will serve a similar purpose. I'm surprised you did not hear me scream all the way f

Start 11 2.5 is no longer compatible with Winstep Extreme. It prevents any maximized Window from occupying more than 50% of its normally maximized size. Winstep Extreme docks came utterly unglued! Docks at the top of the screen went to the bottom even though they were set correctly to be at the top. If I made the dock slightly smaller, it would jump to the top and make itself tiny. Winstep Extreme software depends on finding the taskbar at the bottom of the screen or findi

I have a dark reddish brown color set for the taskbar. When I maximize chrome or Firefox, the color changes to a bright lime green. This is new. This is awful Please fix. this really destroys my taskbar

Yes, I have had many of the same thoughts. Then I look at the attitudes that many of us in the USA have about various minorities, colors, ethnicities, religions, and sexual preferences, and the vision is even bleaker because both democracies and dictatorships do not seem to represent all people just the people in power. So what can we do? My wife and I vote; we are active in our communities and live the best life we can. Yes, it is difficult, but I can remember the Cuban missle crisis

You did NOT misread. Thank you. The instructions for Fences, however, do not make the distinction you so clearly did. Clicking on the Fence title or in "Customize Fences" also has "View." I included a snippet of the View that I looked for in "Customize Fences" and in the actual Fence itself within my "bug" report. I never did click on a blank spot because I never did anything on a blank spot concerning configuring Fences. Why is there suddenly a third "View" t

It is frustrating how going from Windows 10 to Windows 11 has broken Fences. There is no way I can find to unlock or lock the Fences. It used to be in View, but no longer. All that I have in View is: I have purged and reinstalled Fences (file size 4724kb) I have installed and uninstalled earlier versions of Fences. I downloaded the latest versio

I can do everything from Edge, but not from Chrome Beta, or Canary, and not from Firefox. Nothing happens when I click the link In Edge, it sort of works but fails to ask me where to save it or if I want to run or Save. If I sgo to Edge Options, it changed the options from always asks, sigh, and once I change it, the link works. But not from Chrome or Firefox.

That warning has been documented elsewhere. The warning arises when programs modify the kernel. Virus protection, camera, Acronis Backup, and yes Stardock. I think that you might want to do that with Stardock products because they change the way the kernel displays groupings on the desktop.. I have no problem with Chrome crashing, I use Beta for Chrome and Canary with no crashing. No problems with Firefox or Edge. The problem goes away when you reinstall the OS! Backup yo

It seems to have stopped after I disabled the Windows Defender folder protection. I will keep experimenting until either I figure out the exact cause or I assume that Chrome has been fixed. I will post what I find.

When Dock and Start 10 are installed, Google Chrome will randomly crash with a warning from Google that these two programs may cause Chrome not to function and should be uninstalled. In my case, I have encountered this problem after using the new Gmail client.

Thank you Jim. Since I do a lot of trials, I good not get along without revealing uninstaller pro. I have set the default scan as aggressive and it has never failed me or caused me harm. My very busy, low Tech clients rely on Fences for portals and screen organization. I only have less busy clients in Windows 10 fast preview and I have learned how to keep all those clients happy as well. It just takes more time. I am very pleased to see that the

Too weird. Some have problems and some do not. I had no problem once I "fixed" it using Revo Uninstaller Pro and totally eliminated all Fences files and registry entries via the aggressive scan prior to reinstalling. My wife's computer never had a problem. We are on the same version of Windows Preview. Some of my clients had a problem, some did not. Now with 14936 I still do not have a problem, my wife does not have a problem, but I installed the 3.03 Beta anyway.

I have been continuing to follow posts on this topic. On another computer 💻 that I own, that also is on the Fast Track for Preview releases of Windows 10, there has never been a crash of Fenses and it did not crash after being updated to the lastest Preview release. On my regularly used PC, it crashed again today - prior to when I installed the latest Preview release. What I never mentioned in any of my posts about this problem was that even though Fe

Thank you for responding. I appreciate it. Try right clicking on one in all programs to bring the folder over to Start10, to pin on Task bar, or any of the other right click functions. On my computer there is no response to the right click. Though I thank you for that guidance, is it somewhere in the documentation? Please ex

Notice, I did not say that Stardock would be slow on THIS problem. There are bugs that many have submitted including ones that I have submitted. Though this one is MS Preview has caused, in general I hold fast to the idea that Stardock has been slow to fix bugs. I still like, use and my clients use the products based on my counsel[quote who="TiredDeveloper" reply="18" id="3649202"] don't see how they're being slow? It was an insider release. Nobody should be e

The solution is as follows and it it is a royal PIA! Use an uninstaller like Revo Pro (the only one I have tested it on) Completely uninstall Fences 3 and use the scanning function to remove all registry and other en
