Which version of OD do you have? Free or Plus? 1.9 or 2.0? Which operating system? XP, Vista or 7? 32- or 64 bit? To cut to the chase, only ObjectDock Plus will allow you to display the system tray. If you're running Vista or W7 64-bit, only OD+ 2.0 will provide sys tray functionality. Now, if this doesn't help, then can you be more specific? What does "it won't" mean?

One way is to right click on the dock icon you wish to have a menu for. Choose 'edit icon' then check the box for 'Show folder in a menu.' It's only fair to mention that this only works for folders, not simply shortcuts.
Vivid light is like... sex and candy
Your suggestion about Vivid Light caused me to purposely try it out while working on something at work ( [e digicons]:D[/e] ). I also decided to try overlay instead of multiply in the shadow area. The graphic I was working on went from ok to awesome! Thanks! Here's a before & after of my stuff.
btw, overlay completely vanishes on the wood. If you have a trick to keep it visible, I'd love to know it
Also, I like playing around with the contour and gloss contour settings, as well as using different dark/light combinations other than black & white.

Funny how perspective changes things. I don't even have XP anymore; that machine died. I dual boot 7 & Vista, but I never use Vista anymore. My daily working machine is W7, so that's what I start skinning first. To me, 7 & Vista are pretty straightforward to skin, and XP is a pain. But then again, I came on the whole skinning scene when Vista was coming out. Ahh well, take your time and do it right. Looking forward to seeing how it goes. [e digicons]:star:[/e]<
