I figured it out. Even though I had a dock on the top of my screen, the positioning was set to "bottom." I right clicked on the dock, then selected position on screen, then selected "Top." Go figure.
Fans work fine: They fan out below. This is part of why I am confused.
Yes, I've done all of that. It works beautifully on the bottom. On top, however, the stack or grid opens up above the top dock, above the top of my screen.
How can I get this to work at the top of the screen?
There are a couple of docks available. The conventional Leopard look can be found here: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=12905&libid=29 I also created a Black version of the Leopard dock, found here: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=13527&libid=29 As of yet, there is no way for icons to reflect in the glass shelf. I have made (or modified) many of my own icons with built-in reflections.
