I would recommend getting the "Adobe InDesign CS(fill in the blank) Classroom in a Book." The book can be a bit tedious, but it's very in depth and thorough--taught me sufficiently enough to be able to teach my class! I was with my family in the car the other day. We saw a dude run by in shorts so short they looked like briefs. My boys and I thought it was hilarious. My wife thought it was embarrassing. Seriously though, I echo LightStar. Undies are so called for a reason... they are to be worn under something else.

It would be nice if, in addition to the blur and reflection settings, a setting could be added for drop shadow. I design all of my dock skins with a drop shadow. The problem is that, when I have the blur settings applied, the blurring messes with the appearance of the shadow. A solution could be to have independent shadow settings for the docks. The code could be something like: UseShadow = 1 (to indicate usage) ShadowDirection = 120 (to indicate angle)

ObjectDock 2.0: Home > "On My Dock" > More Options > Enable taskbar/system tray > Choose an option from drop down menu. ObjectDock 1.9: Dock Contents > Display open windows along with my icons (choose an option from the 'types of windows to show' menu). Screenshots below for 2.0 then 1.9.

Open some skins in SkinStudio and study the settings. Learn what they do by playing around with them. The way I learned SkinStudio was by copying a skin, changing the graphics around and messing with the settings. Of course, going about it this way means that you won't want to upload whatever you come up with since it will be based on someone elses' work. My first 'skin' was done this way. I never uploaded that one. Never really finished it, either; but it got me going in the

1. Go to your ObjectDock Config screen by either pressing the OD icon on the dock or by right-clicking on the dock and choosing 'settings.' 2. Go to the settings tab and press 'advanced tweaks.' 3. Make sure that the first option in not checked. See screenshot.
