It just seems wasteful that once you have a zone of control nothing really bad can happen. You can leave everything empty and just build your forces on the border. Pretty lame if you ask me.

it's always nice to get a inside peak in a company. Thanks

Probably the worst OS's of all time. You're doin' it wrong Sean. Don't you know that you should only get every OTHER Microsoft operating system? Win 95 Garbage, Win 98 Good, ME Garbage, XP was good, Vista garbage, 7 good, 8 i
When we come down to it, The game needs: better AI Better factions Better stats effectivness. Better combat AI Those are but a few of the things that will make this game excellent. I think they have plenty fo time left to get it done. I can,T hazard a guess of a score up to now I simply have no idea. But I have a good feeling about this drop... hehe
Well good luck to you and your team. I'm hoping it al turns out well.
There aren't enough buildings, and the early-mid game economy is so weak that I have a hard time seeing why you would even NEED a second build queue until late game. I was a HUGE proponent of removing the second build queue because when even one of them sits empty it represents a waste of volatile resource (production) for which we get no benefit. Splitting production 50/50 between the two queues when the
Wish I could wack the ennemy merchants and steal all their stuff!!
3) Add your increment gain/loss of gildar/mana/prestige in the top bar like: 523 (+12) gildar. I asked for this several times. You need this information during the game literally hundreds of times. Doing it this way will save A LOT of mouse pointer travel time for us.
I second that. A real bother checking for mienrals and gold and mana.

Great idea!!! I'm in!

Funny post. I like your test. It's quite good in fact. Keep it up
I love the random factor. When it's static I feel you always play the same game over and over again. Meaning that each game you research the exact same thing. There is very little variety. When people say it remove my ability to plan what I hear is that I have no idea what I will do and I feel completely lost. I for one love that feeling. when I open the game and I have no idea what I will lear
I can make brilliant decisions with Brad's money...
Now that is funny!
If you had the tree I'm ready to bet that you would then have the generic champion everybody would use. Meaning everyone would take the same trait because it's the strongest. I prefer randomness. Makes you adapt to the game.
We have to hope that the new AI patch that will be done will fix most of those problems. Like having pionneers in a battle stack I know this AI is easy but I also read that Frogboy and his team are working on making it better. I for one can,ty wait for the new Ai adjustments,
Any of you guys tried my Waiting For Next Beta Mod? I will have a better version out this weekend hopefully. I have a fellow tester working with me now.
Where do we get it? I would love to give it a try
I read a while back about a suggestion towards those lines. Anybody know if this is being considered? I for one would love to see lairs coming back. I can't imagine a wolrd where monsters just stop appearing all of a sudden. I find that a bit boring. As for Tactical; battles I was hoping that heroes would have a limit on how much mana could be used during combat where your soverign would be limitless. That would give him
Considering that Mr Frogboy said there are still months and months of Beta, I'm not to worried about getting things right. I too find that the game is pretty boring after a few runs. I'm waiting to see what will be done to get it better.
I have three computers at home and 2 of them are still single core. As long as they work for the kids I don't see why I should change them. Same for my dual core. As song as it's enough for my games I will keep it. With three kids going to college soon I have to save as much as I can.
Something that's been bothering me too is that a lot of time i'll have a really good character let's say lvl 15 fully geared and a new champion i just recruited lvl 5 or 7 that's really weak and on auto resolve he'll always die. I wish the auto combat will notice this char is really weak and play safe with him accordingly.
I agree with you, in my last game I had 2 magic users and I always ke
I see you guys playing on GIgantic with everything abundant. Hell that's way to big for me. I prefer my games smaller. LAst time I played it's been months I was on a small map with 9 AI and full minors. It's really crowded and the fights come to you quite fast. I think I will start one tonight and let you guys know how it turned out. It was fun reading you guys. Keep them coming.
Same here. Sand box please.
I was finishing my game yesterday, conquering cities pretty much like any other battle. The only difference was that there was a city in the distance. That was pretty boring actually. The AI even managed to get a stack or two behind me and got a few cities back because I had only a few units stationed there. What I am getting at is it's pretty boring not having walls and special spells enchantaments to help protect my cities. MOM had walls and a few spells lik
Maybe this is something that will change when the Factions are updated?
