I'm gonna be ^playing wing commander tonight LOL
I had to flash my laptop harddisk using hddhakr program but once that was done I was able to use the drive in my exbox. It went from a 160 to a 120 but it works. Free drive for me. Now I can play pretty much anything.
We finally opened the Xbox adn I tried playing ODST with friends and I got the message no hard drive detected even though I had a usb key on the machine. SO I guess that's still a problem. I had a 160 gig lap top HDD and I put it in a xbox hdd casing. Tonight when I get home I will plug it in and see what happens.
I'm at work now and I just read through this board and I can't wait to get home and try this game out. Last time I was this excited was when I played that new Dungeon crawler a few months back... Legend of Grimrock...
D3 is a good game it's not by far a great game. The problem with those kids of games is simple. Companies are making dumb games for dumb people. In the past you had hard games which were fun to play because the learning curb was hard and the game was complicated. IMO that is what makes a great game. Then fact that it's hard and it gives you the chance to make choices that will affect your game. Anybody who played EQ1 will remember dying an
I have a sata 250 gig laptop hard disk laying around in my workroom, and I have a spare xbox hard disk casing (in case my current one breaks). I'm wondering if anybody ever tried to use a hard disk other than the xbox recommended one and plug it in their xbox slim.? Thanks
First game that i played in computer is Road Rash...
Road rash... I played that game so many times on Genesis with my cousin. My first PC was a tandy 16 colors with a very big and powerful 20 megs hard disk. My very first game on that thing was Death Knights of Krynn and Eye of the Beholder. However my very first video game was Pac Man on the Atari 2600. ahhh the hours I spent on that stupid game... that and Plaque attack...

I would have to say Doom and Master of magic. I also played Shinning in the darkness. You can play that on your iphone? Do they make it for the IPOD? I also go downstairs sometimes and power up the old Super Nintendo and play a few rounds of Super Mario world. Loved that game.
UBI... they are still in business?
I was looking over the internet that Halo ODST and The new halo 4 requires more memory. What I can,T see to find is if I buy a 16 gig stick on a flash drive will that be sufficient? My kids might be able to answer that one but since it's a surprise I just want to spare the cash and make sure it works for them when they open it. Thanks for the feed back.
Thank you all
I just got an xbox for my kids birthday. an xbox with 3 more controllers a few games . There was a very good special for the 4 gig bundle. I know the bigger the hard drive the better off I would of been. But it was a lot more money and more than I could afford. My questions is can they get by playing Bioshock, Batman and Halo with just the 4 gig? Other than buying an external hard drive which I probably will later on, can I just buy a USB key and plug it in the machine?
Here in Quebec Canada Solar power is not very popular. 8 months of the year we have less than 12 hours of sunlight and then you get the -30 celcius. When is that cold fusion mobo jumbo ever going to happen? PS your setup is pretty cool though
I read Terry Goodkind A sword of truth Series and except for a few books loved the series. I also read A wheel of time and this one also except fora book or two where the story tends to stretch for pages and pages found the story very compelling. The use of magic is quite unique in the wheel of time. You also see what the world would look like if it was run by women. (I'm sure I'll get killed for that remark) The last book of the series is suppose to come
Thank you. Sounds exactly like what I wanted to get
Alicia Kridge as the borg Queen was a beautifil villain... To bad she lost... The Alien Queen is a bad ass bitch... Dr house wink
I'm a real fan of Star -trek. been watching it since I was 3 and I am 38 now. Please somebody tell me why Mr Crusher was such a pain. He was not my favorite character but I don't understand why everybody seems to think he was that bad... TNG is my favorite series. Followed by DS9 and yes believe it or not Enterprise is my solid third. I loved enterprise. especially when they go into the repair station. Humans... we go there and we destroy
I want to buy an ebook reader... However I wanted it one that IO can read in the dark... Any suggestions?
The Op must of been playing Diablo 3 and is now passing gas here... man I swear the blizzard forums are full of whiners. Joke aside... THis game is going where it's suppose to be going.
I prefer medium games. Just don't want to spend days playing a very large game.

Randomness does do that to you once in a while. Don't feel bad in another game you'll probably end up with only 1 planet while your enemies have 10 :-)
