The main reason I am looking forward to the next beta is for AI updates. Being able to take all the lair goodies is just breaking the balance.
I agree the better AI will make this game a whole lot more interesting. It's time to get it to the next level.

Choke points are rather good. Been using the remove mountain spell to create some choke points. Really cool indeed.
I,m glad I just changed my pc from a single core Xp 32 bit to a core 2 duo win 7 64 bits. Got a really good deal on the used rig. Could not say no to it :-) I only got 1 crash since I've been playing it. It's really stable playing on medium 4 opponents. No lag and no slow downs.
I agree as well. This use to happen in MOM to. If you au combat you saw your caster using tons of mana sometimes on useless spells. Much better if you can give your stack some rules of engagement. prior to combat.
I second that, Much more efficent.
@ not moving This happens when there is an obstacle on a road / or the path ? - like an outpost, or an alien unit - conflict of interest I guess
There was none in my game. I tested it often to be sure. My own territory going to reninforce my city and the stack just sat there dumbly
I agree also with the auto move that does not move. Also about skipping to the next unit. I did not know it was an option, Disable it becomes.
I'm probably in the minority, but I find champions to be pretty week overall, and these wounds just make weak units weaker. They have a hard time surviving battles to get levels ups, and are pretty weak until you find powerful magic weapons and are able to buy them champions gear. They pretty much just sit back and debufff with magic, or do nothing at all. I really wish Kael would have went in a different direction with how c
I too would like to have heroes coming to me instead of me coming to the heroes. I had only 1 hero most of my last game. Found 2 others finally when the game was almost done. I think the idea of a special building that would make it like MOM when a hero would offer his services. Maybe make it that if you decline his offer he will hate you very much and when he his hired by an opposing faction he has it for you or something [e digicons]}:)[/e]
I've played a lot of FE this week-end. And I love the game, however there are a few things about how the game plays out that really bugs me. Maybe these have already been talked about but I could not find anything about it. Trying to see what is under a city name on the Strategic map. At times you want to build something under a city name. For some obscure reason we can,t remove them (at least I could not find any way
I guess I'm still a newbie. I set my flag ship to auto myself. Let it go find what it can find. I never thought of using cargo ships they way it was mentioned before. I'll try a game tonight after FE and try it out.
I just got a new pc. Actually is a use pc but it's new to me. It's a core 2 duo and I have windows7 64 bit installed. I've been seeing on this board a few posts mentioning that having such an OS would be better. Will this game take advantage of the 64 bit os or not? Will we need to get another version of the game or is it installed by default to take advantage of the 64 bit system. I do not know much about
aaaaaahhhhh Like Star wars episode 4.... In a galaxie far far away they used OS/2 and the Jedi....
OS what?????? hehe Never head of it You guys must be like Ancient! Running for my life!!
Hell I think just about everybody who knows about these forums posted on this thread. So I'm the only one that was missing.... hehe [e digicons][/e]
Thank you very much. I'll try that
This is my real first game I have a few towns and I see some monters lair on them but every one o0f them says CANNOT BE USED BY OUR FACTION. I have yet found one that I can use. Is this because I have not researched something or is it really because my faction sucks? Thanks for any insights.
I love Tactical battles. I can,T imagine this game without it. I stillr emember during beta 1 wthose battles were way boring. Yesterday I played a few more hours and During a few battles I was confronted with a huge lac right in the middle of the battlefield. That was way cool. I agree with Frogboy they do not need to be ciomplicated to be fun. However they do need a few fun things that makes you want to comeback for more. I think that aspect is still lack
AFAIK this game is going to be excellent.
I second that!!
I've said it many times before and I will say it again, getting updates from management on a product is quite fun and getting the Presidents view on it is just WOW. Thank you for all the updates and on your personal views. I just love it. Now for the meat... Tactical battles atre a must. I do not think we should flip out because of the comments on this thread. I remember how the battles were when we first started the Bet
I got to say it. Customer service is way out there very very good. Good work guys
I never finished a game yet. Never even saw any of these. I guess tonight I'll be playing some more and trying to find these places.. Sounds interesting.
Bummer But thanks a bunch for the update. I love knowing what you guys are doing. I've played a bit more this week-end and I finally listen to the game music for the first time WOW it was really good. Keep up the good work. All Hail the [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e]
Does this mean that if I want the game to be good I have to create units for the computer to use? What a bummer...
Sadly the things I want (more RPG elements, working boats, etc.) aren't even on the list. If one has to vote for Stability vs. New Features it's game over, time to think about getting out of the software business. STABILITY & PERFORMANCE are NOT FEATURES, it's like asking players if they want a save game option!
This is a real fact. I'm sorry I did not recongnise this
