I would of voted AI if I was not sure already that this part would get love anyhow. You can’t release this game with anything but the best AI you can make. It’s a single player game you can’t have it any other way. So I voted for the fun factor. I want some great random events. Of course I would love to have better cities and factions changes are a must as well. Let’s hope that everything gets some love.

I like the idea of making groups. It sure would make thing simpler.
Hehe true enough But then again my wiife is playing sims across from me and I'm having second thoughts about staying with ehr. Seems she cheats on her virtual husband all the time... Guess I can have some fun with some female pioneers...
It's abvious that the AI still needs some adjustments :-)
Women are good for breeding stock... keep them coming.
I vote good. I know this is a work in progress and I love what I am seeing. As far as I can see I think it's getting better. However it's not close to being a very good game. I also agree with many people on this thread that the Channelers all look the same. They are without flavour. Frankly they are boring. They really need pictures that make them apart and they need technology or magic or peasants that set them aside. Otherwise there is
The only game I tried yesterday I was in a cayon and just outside the cayon I had another civ. I pass by they had a few cities out there with many monsters running around. The monsters were not attacking them but as soon as I created an outpost I was attacked. Are these monsters working for the other civ?

This will put the strongest magical character in the faction in every battle, metaphorically speaking. If you want the sovereign to cast spells outside his/her domain they can imbue a Champion so
I took the afternoon off and I was wondering if there as been word as to when it will be available?
I've played only a handful of games up to now and not very far off. I just realised that the world is really really really really big that's just crazy!"!!! It will take me months just to start a game never mind win one... WAY COOL!!! Thanks mr Frogboy these little trips into the game is really nice. Almost finished my half day after that I am loading the game :-)
I only work half a day Thursday. Hope it's out by 1 pm EST
Without a good AI there is no game. I love what I am reading. Keep it up All hail the mighty [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e]
I played FE beta on my Single core AMD 2g with 2 gig ram and a Nvidia 512 meg card. It work ok.
Random events yeah! Way bigger tactical maps very very good... Distinct personality FTW Keep them coming!
Can't wait to try out the new build. I hope the AI will be abnle to kick some butt.
Great news getting rid of teh caravan. Can't wait to see what they came up with to replace it.
Is this something that will remain pretty much as is? Sounds like Heroes each game you might get different spells. Sounds interesting to me.
Not knowing what will be avaiable later on during the game is what makes this game so interesting,. You choose and hope for the best.
The main point of these spells is to lessen the impact of the starting position over the course of the game, so players aren't that often screwed by the map generator.
I find it challenging to have a map that does not balance everything. If I am a fire mage and I have no fire shard but my enemy has 3 then I have a lot of fighting to do to get them. If balance is all that matters then yes alter
I'm not sure I want the game to allow Channeler to summon Heroes. Recall a hero that you have from the map to you That I don't mind. As for changing the shard when I first read it I thought to myself no way... then the more i think about it the more sense it makes. It could be like an enchantment, Normally a shard give you mana and a bonus for the
A lot of good ideas here. I think mom was better than what we have right now. That's why I spoke up. Another thing bothered me when I was playing last night, the fact that I cannot delay a stack in favor of another. Meaning the back stack gets to move first but I want the front stack to move so I can let it past by. But I cannot delay. Wish I could. Definitely we need a bigger g
I've been playing more of FE since I got my new pc, Graphic wise it's beautiful, I can't complain. A few glitches here and there but on the whole I can't wait for the final version. In my opinion tactical battles could be so much better. First off the battle area is way to small. There is no possibility of making any strategy at all. It's always rush rush rush. It takes one turn
I am a big player of Galciv 2 and all of the races there have a distinct tech tree. I was hoping this would be the same in this game. To me it's almost a must. Having the same tree from a to z for everybody is kind of boring. It must be a lot of work but I think it would be worth it to if not everything different at least have some things complety different for every faction/ race in the game. Spells that can only be cast for certain people. I
If there is a maintain cost I think it should upgrade itself. I bel;ieve that the maintain cost is a link to the spell itself and therefore should upgrade. If there is no cost then yes I think a recast should be in order. Just my 2 gildar's worth.
Please lets get back to the subject at hand. The game. You can argue somewhere else :p I like the game. I want a bigger more straegic playing feel when it comes to combat. Right now it feels like once click and battle is engaged. No real stategies. In MOM it could take 3 or 4 turns before you could get in mele here one click and it's done. I would prefer bigger or less moves. </
