I agree completly pioneer spam is probably by far my number one complaint with the game at this time.
HOOVERDAM
Wanted to start a new game with 915 with a decent start like a 4/4 tile had to ctrl n about 50 times before I got one and then there was nothing worthwhile within view. Has this been changed to make good start locations harder to find?
Yes they seem smaller have always had trouble with opponent starting right next to me it seems even worse now. Just tried a large map with just 1 AI CIV and as soon as I sent out a scout there it was right next to my start location.
Not just XP im on windows 7 and have also experienced a couple of hard freezes in .914 never had them before on earlier versions. Though .86 had so many crash to desktops for me it was unplayable that problem has cleared up .914 jist to be replaced by the much rarer but more upsettig solid system freeze.
seconded i have seen this bug also
Have to add my vote to this getting owned by an assassin demon early on when all you can build is spearmen stinks. Needs to be better balanced.
Sounds similar to alchemy bug if you have a negative balance spell gives -100 instead of +100
Just trying out .9 for first time maybe 40 min in no crashes so far an improvement on .86 for me. But back to the point. Anouther faction offered me a trade treaty but wanted me to throw in 75 gold to make it happen. I agreed and this put me a few coins into the negative in my treasury. Should have been no problem since I had the alchemy spell and lots of mana. But what happens when I use alchemy is intead of getting plus 100 gold I get negative 100 and go further into debt. Alche
[quote who="Glazunov1" reply="101" id="3128437"]quoting post 5. Or Go Home. Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence and Constitution have been removed from the game. These were primary stats that effected other things. rather than doing that we will adjust the other things directly. There is still a trait called Strength which increases a unit weight capacity. There are traits that increase a units attack. But they don't have to given together as was happenin
I have to add my name to the please sqaush crash bugs list. I have given up on .86 as it crashes to often to be playable for me the previous version was far more stable for me. I guess I will just have to be patient and wait for next release.
Ok this is just my personal experiance but I am finding .86 has more bugs and is crashing far more often than earlier versions I can barely get into a game without crash to desktop never had so many in privious version.
0.86 is up both full and 200mb patch. Hopefully we get some details on whats included soon.
I can confirm this. I had a air node with a shrine on it at my first city cast corruption on it destroys shrine and converts it to death mana node as it should but now it will not permit a shrine to be built on it. Tried going back to earliest autosave the shrine was already under construction but far from finished same result with death mana node created but unable to build a shrine on it. Unfortunatly there does not seem to be anyway to demolish a shrine like you can with buildings in your
The title pretty much says it all. Even on large maps with reduced number of opponents there is always at least one other civ right next to me. This is not the style of play I enjoy and would like the option to have AI civs start further away. Just a personal opinion some may like the early competetion and pioneer spam rush but not to my taste.
This forum looks pretty quiet but Ill try anyway. I am a total noob to this game still early on and learning ,one thing has me stumped! Early on you get a training mission for ground combat with robots but I cant figure out how to get more of these ground misssions. can somebody help me out. thanks
