Old Windows Blinds customer, thinking of repurchasing - using the eval software on WinXP (company won't upgrade.. ugh) Using Diamond/diamond skin with transparency. It works fine, except that every morning, I return to my work PC and find the transparency has 'broken' and appears dark gray. I found an app called ultra mon which seems to do the trick.
Something in my stardock package might already do this, but I haven't discovered it yet. So, is there a way to treat multiple monitors as distinct virtual desktops. Or phrased differently, can I display 2 virtual desktops - 1 on each monitor at the same time. I'd like a task bar on each which relates to the windows open on that screen.
Here are some screen shots. The first is how fire fox will being to look with a 'hidden' vertical scroll bar, the second shows how the hidden items were really just stuck way out to the right.
This one is rather hard to explain, and unfortunately I don't have a screen shot at the moment. Sometimes FireFox seems to set its internal client window width to wider than the actual firefox window which results in the vertical scroll bar being lost (off somewhere to the right). If I resize firefox to the size it thinks it should be or larger, everything is fine, but if I resize to a smaller size, I lose the scroll bar and any content is placed as though it is in a much wider
I have encountered another WB issue (thanks for everyone who helped with the screen corruption issue). Sometimes when I try to print screen / screen capture to paste a ss into some graphic application, I get an error message that states that windows is unable to get the contents of the clipboard. If I switch to the Win2K skin (maybe I will also try just switching to any skin other than the active) the problem goes away - although this usually results in half my open apps - includi
I'm now back up to ObjectBar + WindowBlinds (DogmaX3) + Windows FX (only using taskbar preview - no other added visual effects) without any noticeable problems for 4 days.
Switching skins didn't help - at least not to that skin. A corrupted screen was waiting for me Monday morning. I was in the office from ~0900 to ~1900 and the corruption happened again around 1800, forcing a reboot. I then switched over to the Win2K theme. No corruption yet this morning, but the Win2K theme is sehr stripped down. Chipset is up to date - as far as I can tell via dell and windows auto updating systems. ctfmon.exe is running (notice the 'f'). I'm taking the s
I'll check both those things Monday (that's my work pc). Thanks for the help thus far.

One of the problems I am having with this great product is that after a period of time my screen becomes corrupt and windows no longer seem able to properly redraw themselves. Sections of windows will not be filled in - often the window will appear as an empty frame. Minimizing and restoring the window will sometimes correct the issue, but the next time a different window receives focus, the problem reoccurs. Typical Corruption: <img src="http://img297.imageshac
After install and single reboot it wasn't functioning properly, but low and behold today it is always on top.
Sorry if this has been discussed, the forum search feature seems to be down at the moment. The Taskbar Preview is very cool, but is easily obscured by other windows. Is there a way to set it to always on top / z-index+ ?
