WB - print screen issue

Cannot paste contents of print screen

I have encountered another WB issue (thanks for everyone who helped with the screen corruption issue). Sometimes when I try to print screen / screen capture to paste a ss into some graphic application, I get an error message that states that windows is unable to get the contents of the clipboard.

If I switch to the Win2K skin (maybe I will also try just switching to any skin other than the active) the problem goes away - although this usually results in half my open apps - including windows explorer crashing.

I can confirm that WB5 per-pixel skins cause problems with the clipboard. I've reported this to Stardock some time ago. I use "ClipCache Pro 3.1" to capture "copy" items and then quick paste them in other applications. The "Quick Paste" feature does not work with a "per-pixel" skin but it will work with non per-pixel skins. I mention this only that it may be related to the problem you are having with the "PrtScn" key since it involves a copy/paste function.

So, try an older WB4 type skin and see if the problem occurs.
