Multiple Monitors && Virtual Desktops

Something in my stardock package might already do this, but I haven't discovered it yet.

So, is there a way to treat multiple monitors as distinct virtual desktops. Or phrased differently, can I display 2 virtual desktops - 1 on each monitor at the same time.

I'd like a task bar on each which relates to the windows open on that screen.

I found an app called ultra mon which seems to do the trick.
