I know I saw it in one of the stickies or whatever. I believe Kryo posted it. No matter what I search I can't seem to find it but it had to do with mirroring parts. I don't know if that was related to the hardpoints or not but I believe it had to do with certain pieces of jewelry that could be used as wings. I wish Kryo was in here or would read this or something! Okay, I read everything that the search came up with in regards to "mirror". Maybe I should have said "reverse" parts. That is to

we can chuck asteroids at a planet in GC2 Where the heck is this feature at? Chucking asteroids? Are we playing the same game?
I think you are missing the point dgswensen. All of the invasion features that you mentioned are great. The point is, tactically speaking, I believe people would like to see other types of planetary defenses that would therefore necessitate an invader to adopt some sort of planetary bombardment strategy to weaken the planets defensive capabilities. Star Wars episode V (the Empire Strikes Back) comes to mind. When the rebels were evacuating Hoth there were planetary "artillery" positions which lo
where a typical post may read something like "OMFG my l33t skilz r teh bomb pwnz u goods u suxxorz" u 2 den? lol!
Never said I was Carlos Mencia! Just a "harmless" joke(so I thought) that I didn't think would get censured. Besides, it was aimed at an "older" crowd than the teenies so,,, now I could tell a few that would definitely get me into trouble in here
36 here and still evil after all these years. And for the fella who playtested D&D,,, you lucky bastard!LOL
Sheer idiocy, probably on my part. Whatever. Must play GC2! I apologize, pissy Monday attitude on a Tuesday, go figure.
If you give it an honest play you will most likely become as addicted to it as most others here are
I think some of you guys should get an honorary PhD or something! Great discussion. I think I've learned more from this thread than in all four years of high school science.
I remember seeing a post regarding somehow double clicking on a piece of jewelry or whatever in the parts list and it would be mirrored so that you could put wings or whatever on a ship and have them be mirror images. Didn't come out right but you guys know what I mean. Any help?
No problems with the turn button, it turns green as it should. Sure you're not overlooking a ship with moves left? I know even if I put a ship on sentry or gaurd it will still sometimes show moves left, thus the turn button stays white. Only "glitch" encountered so far (besides a freeze up due to other unknown reasons)was a freeze up that seems to be triggered by decommissioning a building that is being built or upgraded. I've found that if I want to remove a bldg. that is being built/upgraded I
till the day came when i had to beg the miss's to get it You too huh? LOL
It looks like you were the one who started abusing people. Only after provoked Kid Charming, only after provoked. And my response has nothing to do with the joke post. Read around and tell me that people in here aren't ignorant. Now being ignorant in a
We do know that you've irritated the hell out of a lot of people though. You were off-topic, it got moved off-topic. Those are the rules. Don't try and argue them, ESPECIALLY based on your personality, ? Personality? Do you know me? What do you base this comment off of? Because I spoke the truth with regards to a game that wasn't working right? D
Everytime I've updated GC2, SDC has said it wanted to reboot and I've done so everytime. I too had wondered why the hell I'd need to reboot for a game. Told you guys before. Stardock works for the CIA! They're downloading back door access to our hard drives! Seriously, never had SD ask me to reboot. Could it have something to do with an individua

Often a good reason- the guy making the game doesn't like it. Well there you go! Nuff said.
Heh... surprisingly nice post, Evil Storm. Methinks you keep slamming me today PaladinStorm. Quite okay. Some of my own posts and replies embarass me when I go back and peruse,,,,. But thanks for the info. Never played the MoO games so it may be worth it to check into them. But yes, sometimes something intelligible manages to pour forth from my c
moron? ouch
Did you finally buy the game Zubaz? ) check your recent posts. Every time you make a post about carriers, I drown a bag of kittens. Please, think of the kittens. LMAO! Just read that one from a couple of days ago. Awesome reply. I love it.
This isn't a strat in as much as it's an example of my current game, meant to show you what "not to do". Playing at the normal difficulty, I started out like any other game, planet grabbing. By the time I had about five colonies, my treasury was around neg. 500 and sinking fast. After many turns in the red (in which I humbled myself and literally gave away tons of hi end techs for whatever cash I could get) I realized that my resources were spread too thin. Needless to say, colony destruction wa
es, but she has better things to do thanto code anything like carriers ... like code Dark Avatar with more important features. You got me on that one!
Planetary bombardment doesn't have to mean 'destroy the entire planet immediately' Correct. I don't see why it isn't in the game to begin with. Make the planetary defenses actually do something more than they do and we might have something with it. Artillery is used this way in warfare, as is carpet bombing. It almost seems as if the devs really
Ah Mumblefratz, even though I am a staunch advocate of carriers I do have to agree with reply #32. Yes, it is sad that it has degenerated to such and to think, I started this by dredging up an apparently sore subject which I honestly had never bothered proving the forums for. As my original post was, I want an aircraft carrier!!!!, I was only throwing one out there since everyone was saying what to put in the expansion or even GC3. If ever I'd known what kind of response, I don't think I would h
