This is a list of various Balance issues for Demigods, mainly with a Focus on Sedna, Queen of Thorns, and Rook - and what exactly makes them Impossible to defeat when they are used properly. Sedna I gotta hand it to mcjoin, he always uses the most broken characters to their fullest extent and still has the audacity to say "GG" at the end of a match when it was far from it.. Before this Build, I had thought Sedna was somewhat balanced - that is unt

When I first played this Beta Build, I realized that there were new Highlights that appeared over Demigod's and Objects. Nice indeed, but I had troubles with it. No problems occured when I reset my Video Card settings back to default, but after some invetigating I found that the issue was the " Gamma Correction " found in the NVidea Control Panel. Turning Gamma Correction on causes problems. Such as, when you select something ingame with a Highlight, it will turn y
Yeah but I've discovered some nasty issues with those UI Highlights.
I took am looking forward to the Metagame. I really hope a nice system for favor has been worked out, else it will need some attention. To have a new build out soon sounds splendid, but we won't keep our hopes up. ^^ Having some nice focus on balance too sounds like a pleasure, because that has been a major issue is every build. Not to mention it'd be fun using items again, this last beta build has been quite uncomfortable without the customizability features in place.
GC2 is one of the best games I've played, and will be a part of my collection for a long time. It takes some getting used to, but once you get a feel for it you never wanna put it down.
Well the Adjustmen of flags is well and good from game to game, but how exactly does this translate into the Tournament modes?
This prospective is written from 2v1 game scenario experiences. The evolution of Demigod has undoubtedly come a long way since the introduction of Beta 1 back in September. Despite the progression over past five different playable builds, the very latest seems to be one of the weakest candidates. So much of the game has changed, and certainly each build becomes progressively less fun and entertaining. Now that may not surprise many, as this has been forewarned th
If you observe the screenshot Nights, we were both the same General.
Just goes to show a lot of these Game Types were not designed for 1 on 1 senario. But due to the poor Multiplayer, all we really can do is 1 on 1 and 2 on 2, and the rare 3v3. It feels like a lot of these Demigod and Gametypes have been balanced at 5v5 or better.
But if you look it, the dark forces reached a higher level, killed more grunts, killed more demigods, and did more damage.
Umm, of course they killed more grunts, got more levels, and did more damage. We shut down their portals, they had four hordes coming at them with Catapultasaurs. When this heppens, you gain level very quickly before your Citadel dies.
Temp ingame solution is to buy stuff in the shop. This has been a known issue since the first build, and buy items has always been the way to fix it.
In compairson to Queen of Thrones. Sedna feels more balances, while Queen of Thorns is an unstoppable tank, much like the Rook is. The Rook rigt now isn't any better, he can do much the same if you build him correctly. A further note, I don't think any form of a Demigod Seige is really a good idea at all for this game (just like I feel this game doesn't need Stun either). Both Rook and Queen have these abilities that harm buildings, and that is what makes them a real pain in the butt.
In the last game I played, which was 2v2. I did much of the work for the team by invest all of my money into the Citadel while my teammates refused to put any money into it. All he bought was gear and equipment with all the money upgrades I was scoring for the team. That is until Catapulasaurs were avilable, he bought those, and only those from the Citadel. Despite me pushing into both the enemy Portals and clearing the way to capture them both. I didn't recieve an
In the previous build, we discovered that after you play/host a game. Restart your game for a more successful attempt at another game.
Wow.. All game companies look alike on the inside. It oddly feels like... home.
I stills gots more Karma, for now. :)

This is exactly why I try my best to offer clear, indepth feedback. [e digicons][/e] Stardock + GPG is a good combo, MUCH better than GPG's connection with Microsoft back in their Dungeon Seige days. Poor guys had to go without pay checks for.... how long?
Slippery, we have no need for a new Thread for this. This one is fine.
I ordered from Play Asia: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-9f-49-en-70-317k.html

I feel Mooglepies does a good job summing up a lot of lime-minded points on the thread. It's worth taking some notes from, as there are valid insights there and honest perspectives. I know it sounds bad, but I am in favor of sweeping changes to the General. I think it'd be nice to see it in practice, at least once, during this Beta so we can see just how well it plays.
I dodn't know about u guys but if u make Oak 99.99% reliable on pets to win u will have killed him. When I think of Oak I think of a guy who can lead his men to victory.
So you want Oak to basically be an Assassin. I must say that many people have offered very realistic ideas that -are- possible with the confinds of the game as it is exists. Argueing that you don't want Oak to change is fine, just say it, but please do not aggressively believe that your opi
Slippery, I'm afraid if 20 units under the control of a Demigod is the sum of all the RTS parts, then we might as well just give up on the idea of Generals completely and just makes Demigods.. well.. Demigods. We've gone over the numbers time and again, there just isn't enough depth and difference and that is the main focus of this discussion.
makes it more of an RTT than an RTS - or it should, neither of those abbreviations currently describe anything in the game.
Couldn't have said it better myself.
