Don't get me wrong when I say.... wow. I love it. I really do. I'm always crazy about my desktop.

Well, unlike Harddrives and other USB/2 or Firewire devices, is that they can easily vary speeds. I mean the idea of a an exteranl video card sounds nice indeed, but it'd need a whole different kind of extranl slot that really make for some crazy looking towers/laptops. But hey, I'd buy one - after I got the motherboard capable of handling such a thing of course.
Log sent, along with Screencapture.
Trig.... why do you always have to offer these stupid matched when not everyone can play? I'm FORCED to sit on the side lines because GPG thought I was just kidding about the bugs I've been having. They've been over looking the issue.
The game cycle can control how powerful a General can be in the beginning, just like an Assassin by limiting what they can buy at the beginning of the game. So I don't understand your reasoning Soccer. All I know of is that ever since Generals have been released, I've never found them unique, I've never found them fun, and I've voiced this opnioning since the very start of Beta 2 - but I've seen no real development in progressing to become better. As far as I'm converned, they j
We really do need Voice built into the game.
From the feedback, I will agree that it looks NVidia Related.
I try to suggest few units on the field. Don't get yourselves carried away guys. Lower end computers still need to play this game. More units, more carnage, more crap on the screen is not going to work if this game has to work for most everyone's CPUs and budgets.
I run the ingame FPS monitor. How do you think I got the numbers man? :)
LOL. I don't think I agree with any of OrleanKnight's suggestions. As for lag, we don't create lag. Ping times depend on individual player networks. I think, however, that we should increase the tolerance to 350ms (at the expense of it being slightly less responsive).
Who said it was Multiplayer Lag? This is System lag! 3fps when I play along against the AI on lowest settings is unac
It's all in the execution. Right now Minions can be popped up just about anywhere based on a timer and not resources. If you take a bunch of Mana potions you can make units just about anywhere at anytime. This really bothers, and I feel this is one of the key factors that makes Generals feel too much like Assassins. Their Minions are abilities, not a fundamental part of building an army which compliments a person's tactics and play style. Idols and Ability Summons are choking a General's true
Trigeminal, why not have minions which provide buffs like Equipment?
Generals Fewer minions that are a lot tougher. 1st level minions can only have 2 of with you. 2nd level minions can only have 4 of them with you. 3rd level minions can have 4 of them with you. Generals should do less damage in battle. (the Oak, for instance, starts out doing like 150 damage per second).
I suggest tossing out Minions & Idols for Generals, as best described in" Yet Another Gen
I like the ideas, many of them mirror and echo my own views. Many points I'd like to direct people to is that yes, Random is right in stating that Idols are a bad idea . Allow me to further compliment this by stating that I feel that Generals randomly generating units through abilities isn't as cohesive and interesting as it could have been, so at present that too is a bad idea. The present functions in which Generals accquire all Minions is d
You see the Angel model everytime you look at the main menu. :)
My major lag issues have nothing to do with the spawn rates of the Reinforcements. It's more centered on the something else that's triggered by the playable Demigod, the Camera, and Attack Animations.
I always called Reignforcement, Grunts. So I'll be sure to keep that in mind in further observations.
Hmm, thought I posted a link to the thread in that post. My apologies. Thanks for covering Trigeminal.
Striker, please post your CPU specs in my thread: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/338191
Despite the game settings, Slow, Normal, or Fast - we have Beta Testers do have to provide feedback on how the game plays. Each build we've seen the developers test the limits of just how much crap they can put on the screen at once, and frankly I think they've overstepped their bounds. We certainly need fewer amounts of grunts on the field, no matter what spawn rate we opt for. Each unit is more durable, and becomes more durable as the game progresses. Just because they are fewer shouldn't t
I hope that suggestion wan't for me Dalzk. :) http://forums.demigodthegame.com/338191
you don't read the forums do you?
You did delete your /My Documents/My Games/Demigod folder before starting it up?
Sounds like the opposite of the last build, the grunts on the field felt rather pointless until Catapultasuars.
Forced Windows Mode works fine though, (Edit the Shortcut, add +windowed and resolution to Target) +windowed 1280 1024 (example). Performance for this build is terrible, the game competely fails on lower end machines now and is utterly unplayable for people who do not have really nice computers.
