I will make sure some of the devs see this post.
The application was only built late last year. Users are still creating packages for it. It is actually pretty easy to use the application to build your own. Pretty self explanatory. Let us know if you need help.
Try clearing the cache. Go to start > run and then copy this into the command line: %userprofile%\local settings\application data\stardock It will open a file folder. Delete the ObjectDock one. Be sure to save your theme before doing all of this.
I have noticed that of late I have been getting more emails asking about drag when using Object Dock on new laptops. Truth be told I am finding that 90% of the time it is due to bad drivers. In several cases I have been directing people here: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/ Now of course you take your own risks but nearly all the customers that have had this issue have reported good things t
Try disabling the UAC. If you like give Tweak Vista a try: https://www.stardock.com/products/tweakvista/
Just so you are aware that has been a request for a quick tool. I will make sure the developers read this thread.
I'm trying to replicate the issue you guys were having. What versions... etc everything that Philly said in #2. I would like to see if I can get this to happen to create a bug report.
This isn't exactly what is written but this is how we say it when we get this question in support. Only one license can run two computers that are typically not in use at the same time. This allows for work/home, work/laptop, home/laptop and so on. However the system tracks activations and the IPs that activate them like any other company. Too many activations shut down your license. In some cases we reset them for you but if you have activated all over t
You can actually. MP follows the display rules set down by each PC. For instance on my desk I have Comp1 Comp2 Comp3 Each computer has two monitors but Comp 1 has one stacked on top of the other. So it goes: Mon2 Mon1 Mon 3 Mon 4 Mon5 Mon6 To do that I just went into the display settings and set the Mon1 to the 1 spot on that machine. Then I placed 2 on top of it still in the display settings. You could al
We had quite a few tickets on this matter so I thought I would post here as well. The Wincustomize browser was unable to connect for a little over 12+ hours in the last few days due to a server migration. If you had troubles with this the situation is corrected now. Please try it again and you should be all set. However if you have any problems of any kind please write into support and let us know about it. Thanks! support@stardock.com <br
Make sure that when you install it you go up to the current beta of the software. Also before running anything restart the machine after the install. Those might have been "duh" things to say but it makes a big difference and even testing this stuff all the time I forget to do it.
You can find them all here: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?libid=13
Should you have any issues of any kind just let us know at support@stardock.com. We would be glad to help.
Some server migration just occured. Please try again and let us know if you still have troubles. It should be all set now.
It should default to apply on AIM. On a regular install it isn't skinning the application? Can you throw in a screen shot?
If you are using Objectdock is it Plus or the free version?
Did you uninstall the trial before the update and restart after the install? This issue can happen if you haven't.
Be warned of Yahoo items fighting Stardock products. Might be the case here but they often hate each other.
I sent this info to the developers so they are aware of it. I will post anything they pass down to me.
The sig is the activation file and that should be fine. You can always try a clean install of SDC just in case. -Run the file here: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/remove_sdc.bat -Restart your computer -Reinstall SDC from here: http://sdc.stardock.com/sdcentral_setup.exe
No the new version will not be 64bit compatible at this time.
You might be getting a conflict. I would suggest trying one of the other downloadable versions. http://bootskin.com
My fault I didn't check the link it seems. Sorry for the confusion. I downloaded it too. The author doesn’t have all the extra files in that theme loaded into what is downloaded. Meaning that was a picture of his desktop and not all of that is in the file. You can always contact them and ask for those extra files.
I will forward your request to the developers.
