That is it in a nut shell. MyColors and WindowBlinds were fighting for a time there. If you have trouble with either having them both installed be sure to also update MyColors Theme Manager as well.

Bee already said this but I wanted to jump on this as well since it happens from time to time in support. The reason you receive "X is not a valid Win32 application" is because the download has corrupted. This is due to lost/corrupt packets transferred during the download. Stardock Central, more often than not, will clear that issue. It is with out doubt the most useful tool for managing any of our products. No spyware, no pop ups, just good government... ahem downloads.

No not at this time. Though the gadgets provide links to the websites that would tell you that.

I honestly don't know. What I do know is that the developers have been going full speed for months on various projects for Object Dock. I do know they want the update out as soon as possible but I can't pin them (or myself) down with a date yet. What I can say is it will be pretty soon (no I don't mean Summer). I will also put that in as a feature request.

Never worry about that DaveRI. There are with out question multiple users here that have been at this longer than I. I don't mind at all people coming up with good solutions. Heck that is how I fix stuff later, I learn half what I know just from reading posts here.

I will make sure the developers see your post. Thanks for the info!

Arguably no the updates are not a huge difference at this time. However keep in mind that FX is still undergoing multiple updates as we speak and there are a few added features. However if everything is working fine I am not going to tell you that you have to jump on the next best thing. I happen to be in support after all. :)

Terryb someone must have already reset your activations because I find none at all listed under your account. Jeffo please try us at support@stardock.com. One quick trick to try is to make sure your download isn't corrupted. Try uninstalling your software as well as Stardock Central. Then restart the machine and reinstall both just to be safe.

That seems pretty heavy a question. Please contact us at support@stardock.com so we can go into more detail. Please include that you use XP and what widgets you are using.

What programs do this specifically? Also can you send a screen shot? If you have multiple windows open I know it will revert back to the icon with a number for the total sum of windows open.

I posted the info to our web team for the update. Ciep is quite right as I have a 64 Vista machine running it right now as well.

5 Replies 3,422 Views

Actually for that please email us. Just as a check try uninstalling and reinstalling Stardock Central. Please let us know at the above email address.

A new update was published last night however with some Vista installs Stardock Central has an issue. If you are having trouble with the update installing over and over you will need to reinstall Stardock Central. The issue is being corrected as we speak so if you wait till later today the update should work fine. Just an FYI

The developers are still working on the reported bugs at this time. I know this doesn’t help much but I didn't want you to think these issues were being over looked.
