Simple questions first. What security software are you running? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software yet? Trial or full version?
DorkCoffeez
I certainly hope so. If you don't get something please let me know. I would be happy to help.
Thank you for your impute. I will pass it along to the developers right away. :CONGRAT:
I would gladly help you here but we would need account info to verify and we cannot post anything like that here. I look forward to assisting you through the support channel.
What happens when you use IE to download skins from Wincustomize.com?
I can't start my new download of Sins either-it's just staying on 0kb and says 'connecting'. I'm at i34 on a beefy internet connection so i know it's not router problems!
Are you talking about Impulse? SDC?
i am having the same problem...
Which one?
It is still a known issue that we are battling hard. If you should need us Schekker please contact us at support@stardock.com. We are present in the forums but this is the official channel and you are sure to get our attention.
You will find several versions of Bootskin for download on the Bootskin site. This is because Bootskin has not been in development for some time I am afraid. Officially it is no longer supported. What I would suggest is uninstalling and reinstalling. If that does not work try installing the other versions. If none will work any longer there might not be much that can be done I'm afraid. Please keep us posted though.
Is this still persisting for you guys? I checked this at work and at home and still have not gotten the same. Have you tried clearing the cookies?
If you have not heard back from us already HaywoodU, and is has been over 48 hours not including the weekend, please let me know via PM what the ticket ID number is or what the email address you used to make the ticket with. I'll do a follow up as soon as possible.
I don't know about any effect but that certainly does not mean it isn't possible or already planned. As I said earlier I hope to give out a pseudo, plans and things to come Panic Button to lessen the guesswork around Stardock. Hopefully I can add more about Object Dock. Once again, no promises. :NOTSURE:
I don't know what I will be able to get on the matter but the time for a new Panic Button is at hand. I think I will devote this one to current plans and statuses of our long list of software. It might be a bit late to get it in this month but I think it will be well worth the effort in the next few months.
I updated the PM convo and confirmed my earlier info about the current status of tickets.
I don't have BF2 available to me at this moment. Can anyone out there confirm this for me? If you like you can send me a PM to confirm it should you prefer that. If I can get some replication out of this issue we can move it forward into Q&A.
I tried over the weekend with a fresh copy of 2142 and WindowBlinds installed and I could not get the error to occur. We will have to help you through the support channels from here. I think it could have something to do with multiple installs of PunkBuster. I have had many troubles with PunkBuster in the past with all sorts of software. It still bears looking into so I am looking forward to digging deeper on this.
I'm very glad to head it Goose40! Please let us know if you have further troubles!
We often test dreams on what I would call "crappy boxes" where the hardware is lacking. Some of them just have on board video hardware instead of an actual card and we are able to test them just fine there.
Support is officially present in the forums. However the main channel for support is through email at support@stardock.com. Those who write in have been waiting for answers and often take president. We attempt to help in the forums as much as possible but when in depth support is required we handle it by email.
We will be happy to help you through the support channel Hankers pointed out. Please know that our software does work very well with Windows and I am certain we can get it working for you. However when you do write in please supply as much detail as possible about the situation and what you have tried already to fix it.
Well, Seabass certainly knows how to make an almost meaningless statement Still, given the apparent abandonment of several other parts of My Desktop, it is good to know that ObjectDock will get a serious update, although not anytime soon. I can wait a few months I guess. And I do hope they'll focus on the right issues on this update. ObjectDock is a nice application IMHO, but it just lacks those finishing touches which would make it a great one.
In the last 3 years I have m
What OS are you using for this? Also what service pack for that OS?
I have asked our more resident expert on DesktopX to check in on this. It also could never hurt to contact us at support@stardock.com as we can help.
Also something I forgot to ask was if you had punk buster though 2142 only or did it install from multiple games.
Sounds good though we may need to verify all information. We will get back to you right away through the support channel.
We would like to test this out on our end. Could you start a formal ticket with us at support@stardock.com? Please link this forum post as a reference.

It is a measure taken directly keeping peoples account information secure. There is no limit on activation but too many times to fast, too many different IP addresses (all over the country perhaps), and so on and so forth, can cause the activation count to trip.
