Rants from the bag Hello there, If you know me personally you will know me for my rants. If you know me only digitally you have not been exposed to one of my rants. I will demonstrate one of them for you now. Holding the door; when did this become an offense
My 2 very old (and unrelated) ones that are closed is displayed in the "View Tickets", but not the two I mentioned. I must say I haven't found an update that fixes the IP bugs (still showing 4.00.168), and even so, shouldn't the ticket still stay put (with the status: Closed), not just deleted?
Yes in most cased the ticket that had a "Pending issue" like the Icon Packager problem would be reserved. What we do is take the ticket, answer telling you that we know about the

It is also important to know that downloading and archiving cannot cross over the platforms either. If you have an archive from Stardock Central you cannot restore it in Impulse and vice verse. Just an FYI

I don't have any major details beyond the smarter, stronger, faster, million dollar riff answer yet. As details are given to me I will post them. You can be sure of that.

Certainly however these request need to be more formal requests for support through the support channels. Please start a ticket at support@stardock.com for the formality sake then PM me the email you used to do it with. I will see to it in the morning right away.
Sounds interesting let me see what we can glean here: You've seen it but can't describe it. Lots of new features but can't say anything about them, and no promises....also, no time soon. Oh yes, and this isn't a teaser...just what then? Solid, traditional news reporting?Look, I love my Object Dock and see it (imo) as probably the most functional aspect of Stardock's products, but this thread says nothing of any real substance.
Here is the thing, people have been asking me

No not at this time. However the developers of Object Dock did mention that this was a listed request on their sheet. I would imagine you can count that as a "To Do" list if they can find a way to do it efficiently within the UI.

As a follow up to this news I wanted to be very clear on what I know, which is to say only a little. Certain portions of the update are scheduled through a few months from now. As I said before there is no projected time but I also didn't want people thinking this was coming out all too soon. I just wanted everyone to know that the update was very much underway. All my previous answers were never able to say even that much definitively, and I thought many would be as happy to read that as I was.

As a large fan of Object Dock myself I was very happy to see some of the new work being done on Object Dock 2.0. I am very often asked what the plans are for updates and the like. I can now tell you that 2.0 is underway with certainty, I have seen it. The time line is not concrete including months for testing and developing a new UI but I do not think anyone will be disappointed. This isn't a teaser just a polite update on one of the top most questions asked me in these forums. I can also

Sometime around Saturday evening there was some kind of parsing failure with the servers that control activation of new products for us. If you experienced any troubles those same issues were cleared up by Sunday and you should be just fine to try it again by normal means. If you still have troubles with your activation please contact support@stardock.com immediately and we will see to it right away.<br

Cozmo32 - Rocketdock is the competitor to Object Dock. Object Dock is part of the Stardock line up of software which are the hosts of this forum. In all likelihood there is little chance there are many Rocketdock users on these forums. If you have not already please go try out the free version of Object Dock: https://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/

Guys I'm sorry for the trouble here but please keep the "semi Blue" stuff off the forums. I know there is a debate on violence and sexual content and where the line is. However funny cartoon violence? That's fine. Please no more breast shots or verbal/visual profanity. This includes giving the finger and the like (even if it is some cute kitten doing it). If you second guess it at all please don't post it.

Please fire up a ticket with us then as we will do more troubleshooting than the forums will allow. Sorry for the trouble, we look forward to helping you! support@stardock.com.

Just to give your question an official kick. There is nothing in the pipe but the plan (so to speak). There are tons more details in the post that is linked so you will see what I mean. Don't worry Stardock still loves the dock very much. :)
