It then logs the serial number to your Stardock.net account. This makes updates beyond 1.3 available to you. That is important because the 1.4 is a content update that is totally free.

Are you behind any kind of proxy? Do you have any major security applications running? If you like you can try clicking on the "?" help button in the top right, click on XML public, then delete all the files in the window that comes up. After that restart Impulse. Let me know if that works.
The update must be complete and fully working before it is published. The subscription allows for updates when those criteria are met. If you do choose not to renew I am certain that we would assist you so that the product is working for you once the update comes out. However Stardock will never put something out that isn't ready simply because we wanted to hit the date. It makes far less sense to put out bad product on time, than good product in time.

If you are using Impulse please be aware the the private server is not accessable. If you are using SDC then try the other server to see if you get a faster connection. Also if you are running any security software try disabling it for the period of time it takes to download the game.
What drivers are you currently on? Have you tried falling back on the last set yet?
Everything was asked that I would have said with out checking out system info. One thing I would like to mention is that a Deskscapes udpate is due out early next week. I would advise you, and everyone for that matter, to get the update to the full 2.0 version. Let us know how it goes or email us at support@stardock.com.
I'm 99% sure that Object Dock will not interface with a .ini file alone. Just run it as part of the system. I will double check that info though and post if I am wrong or if something like that would work.
If you are using Stardock software and you think it might be interfering with Itunes somehow we would like to hear about it. However if this is just an Itunes issues we can't be of any help there. You would need specific Apple support for that.
You are either using WindowBlinds or Object Bar by your description. Please double check the softwar you have loaded and let us know how we can help!
It isn't impossible to do it that way. I will ask the developers about this to see if they have any insight on the matter.
Try updating to the available beta through Stardock Central or Impulse. This should clear the issue for you. If not please let us know at support@stardock.com and include any info you have on your system specs.
Just to be sure are you setting the file resolution to the allotted sizes?
I tried that linked one and it seemed to do the job just fine. Thanks for the link Koasati!
Anytime! However I do recall some fantasic artist DID make a flag dream for this.... Hrm....I'll look into it. Likely you had a predated theme manager that was casuing the trouble. However for anyone else reading this in the WindowBlinds settings (that can now affect MyColors) there is a transparent tool bar tool in your settings menu. If this is run after the MyColors is applied it will affect the settings.

I tried this on my Vista machine and it took two tries. Be aware that if you have Vista you might have to mess a little to get it to work.
Please check your email as I am doing a follow with you through your support ticket. I look forward to helping you!
Ok well it is still an ongoing bug that is going to be fixed as soon as the next update is put out. My apologies for that. There isn't a work around at the moment I am afraid. I am glad to hear that the weather gadget is working for you however. If you should have any specific questions about Obejct Dock you can always ask them here or through support@stardock.com.
You don't have to delete the cookies only in IE7. If you delete the cookies in Fire Fox you should get the same corrective result.
Fuzzy suggested the same thing I would have. If that suggestion does not do the trick try installing Impulse and see if the same error persists. You can get it from here: http://impulsedriven.com/about.asp Impulse is the replacement for our current downloading software Stardock Central. While Stardock Central isn't discontinued this is the new and effective way to get your download a
I haven't heard of it working for a short period of time and then stop working. To cover the basics make sure that you have an MPEG2 codec installed (which you should because it ran for even a short bit). Also make sure your video drivers are up to date. Currently the purchase you made it still a beta. It is only supposed to run on Ultimate from the stand alone purchase. Once the full update for 2.0 goes live then it should work fin
