I'd love to be able to skip the animations as well. Or just speed them up to 10x or so, so I can see where numbers are going but don't have to wait.
Well, when a Sovereign and an NPC love each other very much...
Guess what, omni? Your vote counts as much as a burger flipper, and no matter how well you understand the principles of government, your well-reasoned arguments are going to be drowned out in a chorus of demands for bread and circuses. Imagine you're riding on a bus, trying to go from point A to point B. You know how to get there because you have specialized training that tells you. Sharing this bus with you are 60 other people who also want to get from point A to po

If you want autists to play that are already hard core gamers, not offending them wouldn't hurt, and don't call them 'Klingons'. You have a bizarre fixation on double negatives.
Keep on demanding, as is your right.
I'm sorry to hear this. Best of luck in the future to those who were let go, and hopefully Stardock can recover enough to bring them back on board when they start another project.
-1 for irrelevant flame-bait political jibe. I didn't like him either, but come on; you don't really want to start something like that, do you?
So "girls" is an unacceptable term, now? Seriously? You go on insisting on calling them "females" and I'll go on thinking you sound like a Klingon with Asperger's.
This isn't a Medieval Knight Combat simulator (Buy Mount & Blade: Warbands if you want that(great game)).
You threw me off when you mentioned you wanted "something a little bit more realistic" than the chainmail bikini. More realism = man armor. Perhaps you could rephrase your request somehow, more along the lines of "I want tits on a knight."
Putting boobs on a breastplate is unnecessary since you can strap them down pretty well, and women certainly would do that before fighting. Adding boobs to armor adds weight and deflects blows towards the sternum. It's a bad idea. Realistic armor for women looks like armor for men. If you want something sexy, well, you're on the Internet. Go find it.
Like magnets.
You could ditch a couple of spellbooks and start with a spear instead. Totally worthwhile. P
I think you're wrong to assume that people have a lot of faith in the game due to some sort of denial or unwillingness to deal with the possibility that it won't be the sort of game we think it can be. I think it will be improved upon because Stardock supports their games and has a track record of big improvements post-release. It's not that worlds hang in the balance; it's just an expectation based on past performance.
I think it's really, really weird that armor is linked to weapons. Two weapon lines, in particular.
I would be happy with getting the cost of their gear back when you disband them.
Wildmana modmod for Fall From Heaven 2.
Thanks for the info. I like the order that things are being prioritized, too.
Any time an attack does 0 damage after armor, it's listed as a miss. Staff wielders will miss a lot against just about everything with any sort of armor.
Familiars can hit for more than their listed max damage on a counterattack. It's a feature listed under their abilities, not a bug.
My sovereign doesn't give a crap about trees. I'm in the process of conquering the world so I can devote all available people and resources to a knock-down, drag-out war on nature.
Yeah, 1-N is freaking awful for single dice rolls. It wouldn't be quite so bad if calculations were more like 1-N for each of the twelve guys in a squad, but even that is pretty bad when you consider that a single bad defense roll can kill your sovereign and end your game right there. A lot of people are asking for special abilities. I don't think the game needs them. I think the game needs better balance with weapons, armor and unit training and a smarter AI, and it
I know with so many other things to work on this seems like kind of nitpicking, but warhammers really seem kind of out there in terms of balance. There's a couple of weird things going on here. In terms of damage they are twice as effective as any other weapon available at the same time. They cost two metal while the mace (a solidly inferior option) costs four. They're also one handed, but the Lord Mace (which is only marginally more powerful) takes two hands.
