I guess I'm just getting a little tired of having to spam bombers in every game where one of these titans is present. And, since bombers en masse are effective against nearly everything else that fleets generally have a problem with... well, why not? I'm not goin

Do you use frigate-class ships with any regularity and if so, which ones? Nearly every fight I've gotten into that features either the Eradica or Ragnarov (on my side or the other or both), just about everything smaller than a heavy cruiser gets wiped off the field with one or two shotgun blasts or chaos bursts. I'm starting to feel like there's a point in the game where the smaller ships become little more than a liability and I'm not sure what to do at tha

I would replace those texts with color icons (like those game options where you select game speed and stuff), because i know all of that text is important. Multiplayer menu

Seems to me, whatever you summon in this situation isn't going to distract the player from killing the titan. If someone gets the titan down to 'critical' health (especially as low as 1000 as Volt said), they're going to commit to finishing the job. In most cases, this would probably just end up being a weaker sacrificial ability like the ART's ultimate which nobody seems to like much as-is.

They might not seem like much to look at if you only have a small handful of them
They make that big a difference?
They can safely bomb any structure from outside that structure's attack range and they do significantly more damage against structures than other ships. Taking down starbases and fixed defenses is their primary function. As was said, the only thing they need to worry about (assuming an enemy fleet isn't around) is fighter-squadrons which is why you bring flak along.

The Trinity pack was $39.99 on release and that was released alongside the Diplomacy micro-expansion but as was said, Diplomacy and Entrenchment have always been $10.

I usually hotkey my fleet groups and structures of interest. For casual play at least, that's more than enough to get the job done. The empire tree is just useless clutter to me, too.

Titan-dozing is getting awfully tedious, especially in AI games where there's a carpet of mines in nearly every grav well. I certainly hope we don't have to wait another week for that one.

Whatever the intention of the pirate mechanic, the actual effect on player behavior has pretty clearly been that pirates are altogether ignored outside of the few seconds before they launch, at which point we see the ebay-esque last-second bidding war where everyone involved just prays that they get the last click before the invisible countdown runs out. Opinions may vary but to me, this is an aggravating way to do business and not much fun overall as a gameplay m

I don't care much about superweapons at this point but in the same spirit, I could definitely get behind a toggle for mines. Put me down for 'all of the above'. Options are preferred in single-player games.

I'll just echo the sentiments here since it's already been covered but I think Guidance is the only problem with this ship. Reverie's handy, Mass Hysteria is a decent siege tool, and instant intel anywhere on the map with Clairvoyance isn't bad at all. That, I use all the time. As was said, it's just a little AM-intensive for the early game.

I'd prefer that it worked in the same way as in Age of Empires 3. The AI 'offers' a surrender, the player chooses to accept or decline, and the game proceeds accordingly (with the AI continuing as normal or abandoning the game). I agree that the AI is a little too quick to bail in many cases and yes, it would be nice to have a choice in the matter.

Steam has been around for quite a while and in general, people seem to prefer keeping all of their game purchases together on a single service. I'd wager a good-sized chunk of the people who are/were using Impulse are primarily Steam-users who are 'only' doing so because they couldn't get Sins, GalCiv, Demigod, and so forth anywhere else (I'm one of them). And, of course, Impulse now being Gamestop-managed is even more incentive to drop it like a
Hey, I never called anyone an uneducated fool because they use profanities.
I wasn't suggesting that you did. The point was that insulting someone directly, regardless of what words you use, isn't going to be a feel-good experience for the target. Of the 96 games that I own on the PC, I can count, on two fingers, the number of those that outright didn't work out of the box and both of those issues were fixed inside of two weeks. I suppose, if we count the server issues with WoW, then three fingers would do the trick.
