Here, on my latest update it's hidden under ObjectBar and stupid me, I was always looking in the binder called "virtual desktops". Hmmm, getting older isn't always a benefit. On the other hand, I am happy with almost all from SD (except games, which I dont use). Well, well, a little bit of structure wouldn't hurt here. Solong and many thanks again. It's a little bit annoying. Can't anybody from SD give me a real good substitute for Virtual Desktops which also works with SD stuff like blinds, suites etc. - those are really great. Any tip is more than welcome. Muchos grazias, walt in trouble

Well, I just want to use it and never get a chance even to configure it. What it does is making 4 (four) items in the toolbar and thats it. to configure it is grayed out. What does a geniuos use as a working substitute (substitute to SD Virtual Desktops, I mean). Thanks and cheers, walt in trouble

Uff, many thanks for the fast reply. Hmmm, guess you are right. If you use Stardock daily you probably navigate easier (meaning the quantity of stuff there). But, okay, for my purpose ThemeManager should do it. Thanks again and cheers, walt

I need to reorganize my clustered desktop. Have tried Tabbed-Dock, but then realized its no more a pipeline prod. Having also tried a couple of stand-alone virtual desktop solutions without much pleasure. Has anyone real experience with SD-virtual Desktops ? Is this also just based on microsoft virtual-desktops ? can I move (not copy) DT-icons from VT to another ? etc. Uff, many thanks for your tips.

Hi, by accident I "loaded" two instances of this widget. Now, one of them (all blank) sticks. Neither deleting it in Autostart nor killing the dll's helps beyond the next system-start. Also using widget-manager has no effect in this case. Anyone familiar with this?

Hi, I tried to download some stuff (suites, widgets, etc.) but since 2 days all I got is the message "failed to download". I am not sure, if this is something on my site or on the host.

Thanks Bichur, will do it.And, ahh, yes, cant download since two days. Might be a host-problem, might be an accounting problem (limited downloads ??) or just the long distance with the chilly temperature (frozing down all bits & bytes).

Having tried a cpuple of themes (suites) I run in many cases into the following message (this one standing for all others): cannot find c:\programs\wincustomize\logonstudio\stinger_logon\theme.ini wheras "LogonStudio" is proper in place. Is there a way around this?

When I apply an ObjectBar theme via TM I always get the above windows-message ("no media in drive ...."). How can I best get rid of this ?

Since CC is no longer supported by SD - what is the substitute for it ?

Just to back this query. This widget is absolutely great, except, there is no box to tick to have it loaded at win-start. is there another way to do this?

When I use UniverseMetal2004 suite, I also get the UM-Bar with it. However, after each restart I must also restart this bar separately. I couldn't figure out a way to include it in the Widget Manager. Any remedy ?

Hello to all many thanks for your great help, and sorry for the delay - I had to install my new box and convert zillions of progs - plus to shuffle snow around the clock. My problem (above) was obvously a mismatch of free-to-try stuff and licenced ones. As soon, as I uninstalled all of them and neatly reinstalled them - it worked. Hello Fans I canoot install the premium suites: Oxidezed,UniverseMetal2004, Carbonix etc. What happens is, that Theme Manager starts and pretty soon goes to sleep (inactive) probably for ever, but I rudely killed it usually after 1-2 hours. I just bought this suite. When I tried to install it (after download) via THEME MANAGER it just went to sleep. I had to kill it via TaskManager after 2 houres. I tried twice!! I am using an XP-Home Laptop fast enough for this. What am I doing wrong?
